I used to be in beauty pageants and it’s really like this . The standards women have to live up to are insane . Too skinny you get hate ; too thick/fat you get hate it’s like you can’t win . This song and video is one of my fave by Beyoncé it’s very moving for me personally . Side note in pageants to keep us smiling we would put petroleum jelly on our teeth .
