I remember back then in the early 2000s in those 5-10 minutes people kept comparing her and JLo together because they both were putting out hits at the time and could sing, dance, and act, with obvious strengths in 2 of them, and somebody summed it up perfectly. Beyonce is a singing dancer that likes to act, while JLo is a dancing actress that likes to sing, both can technically do all 3 but they're best known most for 2 of them.

Id say Beyonces a dancing singer rather than a singing dancer. Her voice is without a doubt her primary talent. Although she can dance very well, its her ability as a vocal technician that is most worthy of praise.
