Btw just a fun Beyonce inside joke, during the Renaissance tour she started playing the beginning of this song during Alien Superstar and the crowd went crazy. Everyone (not knowing she was teasing us) starts singing Sweet Dreams but Bey goes right bank into Alien Superstar. The real time reaction videos from folks at the show was soooooooo hilarious.

It totally has changed, which is only natural, and I've always loved her voice but I actually prefer her post-Lemonade tone. Her lower register is unbelievably gorgeous.

yep all of our voices are lighter/brighter when were younger. whitney houston's voice was way lighter in the 80s too lol

She’s also had 3 kids. More often than not having children lowers women’s voices.

hahaha your wife's pose was so funny. She's pretty! Beyoncé did sing much higher when she was younger. A lot of the beyhive (myself included) loves that she's been singing in her lower register a lot more lately

Literally one of her best vocal performances of her career and she has many!!!

And yes Beyonce used to sing in a very high pitch. She now sings more in her lower register and her voice is so much more richer now but she still pitches really high and sometimes even higher than what she used to do. What she did with American Requiem and Daughter on this her new Country Album is insane. She went to places that I never really expected vocally. Just insane.

She does a slowed down, acoustic version of this during her “I Am Yours” performance in Vegas. I’d recommend listening to the medley version. She starts with this song, then dangerously in love, then a cover of “Sweet Love”, the Etta James song. It’s really stellar.

@bperez86569 ай бұрын
I really hope you guys do Beyoncés body of work in order because you can see her evolve in real time from R&B princess country girl To global pop star And then being invited to sing at the Oscar’s using her classical operatic training over and over again. She was invited to perform incessantly more than almost any artist alive. Then doing renditions with Prince, Tina Turner and many other legends.. You can see how much the greatest artists in American history all saw something special in her and gave her opportunities no one else was given. The reason Beyoncé is the celebrity of celebrities ISN’T because of overrate or overhype. It’s because the vocal experts, singers, musicians, actors, judges that were in the room with her during all of her live performances in Hollywood could tell she was a once in a lifetime human. She’s performed in front of presidents and world dignitaries and been mentioned in more movies than any other artist because those in the industry who were paying attention BECAUSE THEY WERE IN THE ROOM, were left with nothing but respect for her, even if all of her music wasn’t their taste. It’s the insane talent.. Now a days we have artists like Ariana Grande and Taylor Swift who are incredibly talented in their own ways But their rabid tribal Gen Z fan bases try to say that they are the new Michael Jackson of this era And that Bey is overrated and these kids have no idea what they’re talking about The “adults” in the room, of the music industry know that those two ladies while talented and chart topping in 2024 because of their pull to the youth, don’t stand on the ankles of Beyoncés as evidenced by what Aretha Mariah Celine Prince MJ Stevie Wonder Diana Ross Have had to say and given platforms to Beyoncé and no one else. Being invited to perform in front of 3 presidential cycles, 2 super bowls, endless sporting events, that hasn’t happened to any artist alive today… I blame the social media and streaming eras which decentralize all media and give people so many silos to go into their own tribes Im all for decentralization of all things, but one drawback is the improper dissemination of data. That they don’t tune into award shows, they don’t see what other musicians see in Beyoncé Because they were never exposed to her peak moments. They don’t know that she sang Opera in 2005 They just remember Crazy in Love. Lol If all things were equal, and everyone was exposed to the same exact information The truth would come to life One of the biggest Gen Z fake news stories about Beyoncé is that she doesn’t write her own songs, it’s used as the only argument racist Taylor Swift fans have to step on Beyoncés craft She’s been writing her own music since her first album and has won songwriter of the year awards, it shows if you know her melodies and style
