XD Oh yeah rez bot and radar would be great also different between factory and maybe units formation system.

Cool tutorial, touches some key aspect like shift+alt+Z building which could be overlooked by a new player already overwhelmed by game content! As a newbie myself I already knew some concepts from previous similar games (like Supreme Commander or Total Annihilation) but it's nice to explain the stream resource system deeply to avoid confusion for new players. I don't know if you've already done it but I think a good practical tutorial could be a full match against an AI with full explanation of what you're doing and why.

@@perafilozof I love BAR, I'm wathing streams and training against barbaric (which sometimes I can beat and sometimes gets out of hand). So far I find BAR the state of the art for streaming resources RTS style!

Hi I am glad the video helped. At 10:00 it wasn't wrong wording, just late. Moving to the right happened several seconds before I said it. I moved the mouse too fast in the recording for the script to follow. What do you think is the hardest thing for new players in BAR?

Ive been playing skirmish, watching content, and even spectating low level multiplayer for 6 months now, but still very afraid to step in and play with people. I came from shooter background but gaining interest on a strategy game after knowing BAR. but damn still i cant get brave enough to play with people because i know im bad at it.

Well there are servers named: Noob but expect all levels of players in such a lobby. There is also a lot of help you can find in the official Discord. Also add me as a friend in game and we will play when we are both online. My user name is Spector111

Totally understandable. But simply expect to lose hundreds of matches before you start winning and you will have no problems.

It will in the future be on steam but they want many things sorted out first before . Like a small single player campaign and a proper ingame tutorial.

it has 5 technology levels, although you can skip some, being: commander | t1 | t1 advanced | t2 | t2 advanced |experimental.

You can skip t1 or t1 advanced if you want, for example building t1 windmills and skipping advanced solar panels to go straight for t2, but you can't skip both t1 levels.
