@@fishwithcarl Great perspective young Carlos. 💯🙏
@michaelross7496 ай бұрын
@fishwithcarl just goes to show you from an angling perspective you don't need the latest big fish rig like the Ronnie rig or the latest & greatest bait on the market just good old fashioned bait we used as a kid when 1st carp fishing with our dad's can work just as well but that I mean sweetcorn ground bait & Tin of tuna mixed in the groundbait etc can catch huge carp like that sometimes the old fashioned way of fishing is sometimes the best & sometimes the most forgotten about approaches work just as good as a big bed of boiles I just the the simplicity of the bait & baiting approach rigs used etc was more of the times forgotten in the angling world maybe we should take away something from this is that sometimes a good old fashioned groundbait with a tin of tuna added in with a few bits you can buy from the supermarket like chickpeas added etc still works well & maybe that could be the key to unlock bites on waters that seam to be tricky for bites at certain times of the year around all lakes in the uk because let's face it what carp has not seen groundbait used in 1 form or another I bet every carp around the world has seen & eaten groundbait at somepoint in its life 😊❤❤

I am a mad keen sea angler with an interest in going lure fishing in the Azores and a little dabble for the trout, so came across this video whilst researching. It has fired up my enthusiasm to get to the Azores even more. However, just wanted to say how wonderful it was to see the enthusiasm in Alan, the sheer joy to target those small carp in a stunning location was captivating and exactly what motivates me, my family call it the inner child! Thanks for an awesome video, I look forward to exploring some of the other videos you have made.

Go on the Nash lads, Blinding film. From the personal motivations of exploring somewhere untouched to finally revisiting somewhere so prolific it has becomes part of your dreams. The rollercoaster of emotions felt across changing landscapes , how the climate has effected them , that daunting almost intimidating feeling faced by a huge expanse of water , you have no experience with. From the childlike glee of Alan filling up on littlun's to the awe of Dan cuddling the 50lb Dinosaur he'd imagined for a decade. A fishing film with so much more about the natural world and friendship than just a film about fishing. A refreshing lack of tackle tartery and product placement, more bargain baits and back to basics fishing than a v.i.p tour of my beautiful bivvi . Banging film I've already watched it three times and I'm sure that won't be the last . Thanks for always creating a film and not just a collection of clips.
@OfficialNashTackle2 ай бұрын
This is what it’s all about! Capturing the adventure, the raw emotions, and the pure love of nature and the adventure that makes fishing so special. No flashy gear tours, just real, back-to-basics fishing and unforgettable moments with friends. Hearing you've watched it three times already is the ultimate compliment; thank you for the support, we can't make these films without people like yourself!

Well done I understand that feeling to catch a dinosaur. My fish in la gomera was 55.8 lbs Few years ago now . Ive been back to look since and saw the water was so low and haven't returned to fish uet but knowing they are still healthy is great news . Some rain would be great to keep them going another few more years. Well done lads .

I just wanted to say that that video on the Canary Island inspired me to fish there, too. I met Dave from Carp Canaria, who is the best guy ever - thanks to him and his team I managed to land 3 or 4 carps with those epic look and huge scales at lake Chira (Gran Canaria). One close to 30 pound and I named him Ali. Besides him there's one more fish with a name, which is Nelson. Nelson has 1 eye and is named after another carp called Nelson from England, which also has (or maybe had) just 1 eye. Probably one of my best days in angling, even thought I usually care more about the bedchair then netting fish. The video was awesome I just skipped the blanking days in La Gomera (Canary Island / Spain and not Azores btw.), cause I knew there are usually some big ones at the end. You guys always deliver. Thank you Alan congrats Dan. Nice videos, amazing cut. Yeah that's it :D
