I used to have premonition dreams, dreams that came true a few days later. It was never scary though because I would just have mundane dreams about day to day things so the worst that would happen would be the eerie dejevu feelings that would steal over me when it happened. It happened a few time in high school and the almost every dream I had in college but it hasn't happened in years, I kind of miss it, actually.

i once had a dream where i woke up a little late for work, thinking it was real i got ready and drove there to see the workplace in smoking rubble, it had caught on fire, killed everyone and was destroyed and me being late for work kept me alive, i just happened to wake up from that dream to see that i was going to be a bit late for work, i was terrified, all was well at work though, but it still scared me silly

I told a friend in high school about it and she was the one who said they were premonitions and that I could learn more about them and learn how to make them happen but I never did, I think about it sometimes though.

I had a dream about moving statues and a few days later on my local newspaper a 40 year old man got killed the were no finger prints no proof of any body being there the only thing there was a statue the man died right next to it
