Im a shop owner , one night i was fixing a part on the workbench , i was alone in the shop. I heard a loud starter motor cranking up , turned around and the car that was in the bay behind me had just started on its own. I went to shut it down , no keys in the barrel !! i ended up disconection the main ignition wire. Had that car been a standart transmission i would have been ran over and pinned by the car against the bench. that was a fucking scary night.
@Kraft5815 жыл бұрын
I know this is 4 years old now but i had something similar happen. My old car without keys in the ignition turned on and started switching through radio stations. When we had it checked, there was nothing electronically wrong so the source of what happened remains a mystery

Yeah my brother too from this shady-ass dealership in Jersey, but fortunately he's a car guy/semi-mechanic, so he was easily able to identify and fix all the problems with it, even tho he's already put in more money than what he bought the car for, but to him it's a project car anyway. It's a 2005 Honda Civic, stick.

I went to a dealership in San Diego and they are trying to sell a blue Hyundai Elentra that's been in an accident, car fax states to have a mechanic check for structural damage. It should be a salvage title. The vehicle had been on their lot for over a month and I looked at the car. I asked how much it was, they gave me a price tag of 11 grand then raised it to 13 grand I told them because of the car fax I would buy it from them for 10 grand. They refused and to this day that car is still there. These smaller car dealerships try to rip you off and I won't buy from a small dealership any more. Especially when for no reason they up the price tag on the car.

On a road outside an apartment I lived in as a kid, a man in a car died when the car slammed into an electric pole at very high speed. Knocked a bunch of wires down. Nobody ever believed me, but I saw the crash happen. The man was fighting against the wheel, and when he saw he wasn't winning, he threw his belt off and dove for the door. The door refused to open, and I watched that car go kamikaze and kill it's driver.

That was what told me this story was fiction. But, I wish this story was based on a true story. That being said, this horror story has a good message. Never be dishonest or else you could literally pay the price (e.g. lose your job, your spouse or boyfriend/girlfriend and/or your life.). Also, this story shows why you should be very careful with used car sales people. They could be dishonest or misleading and many of them care about making money/commission and not helping their customers.
