There is a PvP community as well, which is screaming for years...please listen to us as well. I am really greatful that you asked questions for PvP. I wish you could have asked that some very basic things are unaddressed. Like Vicious Saddles, we have tons of those in our bags and nothing to buy with those, to something complex like all PvP modes from 2v2 to 10v10 should have their seasonal titles and mounts etc.

@@MarcelianOnline WoW PvP is still the best. Its complicated but still the best. All Blizzard needs to do is do some very basic tweaks and they can have huge player base and revenue pouring in. To start with they can bring in incentives to both ends, casuals as well as elites by brining in vicious saddles trading for mount customizations/legacy mounts/armor sets and gold per win/participation etc. for the casuals and they can bring in glad mount skins for all modes 2v2, 3v3, 8v8 and 10v10 besides giving seasonal titles for all... they just need to get this and do very basic tweaks and WOW PvP will be at the top

Thanks for doing these interviews and all the content for the community. Next time ask about a 3rd DH spec since they are left behind. The glaring "need" would be physical dmg and maybe ranged. Then there can be a second tank with a ranged dps option....maybe like Valla from Diablo/HotS. But would love a 3rd spec for the DH class. And also a tank with a ranged dps option. End selfish request lol

Listening to the "gearing system to(o) complicated?" part of the interview, can't say I agree with Ion over that gearing currencies are ultimately not complex (especially to the new/returning player), and that having just one currency like they had in Wrath (well, two currencies) would not be possible to do today.

Tinker class to create buffs around a dps to make them hold aggro and make them tanky. Such as Shields and armour multipliers on a Windwalker monk. The monk still does their rotation but the Tinker would have to use its abilities to keep up the tankiness of the Monk. Spells could be used to taunt enemies to the dps for x amount of time. a talent style could be single target tank buff or, distribution threat, reducing pack damage the less enemies are on each dps. Could add turrets in to tank big hits like stoneclaw does. Theres so much they could do with support classes.

wow thanks man. i just picked up my dh again i mained in legion/bfa and was surprised when i saw that no recommended build uses this talent! My dh is just a twink now but still good to know. maybe they should put a placeholder in so that people know that it isnt working and of course fix it as fast as possible! i guess many people take it because 30% dmg is almost a no brainer with all eyebeam modifs and added chaos dmg with mastery etc.

He talked about Augmentation Being a DPS. However there isn’t any means for in-game DPS meters to record how much of a contribution they add to the group. So right now they look less appealing numbers wise. This turns players off who aren’t looking at the big picture.

To Ion's point about frequency of balance changes allowing players not to feel like their class will be bad for long: They don't balance frequently enough. Fine sentiment, the correct thing to say, but it's not something Blizzard does well at all. If my spec is bad, I expect it to be bad for a year or an entire expansion. And when it does finally get buffs, I expect them to be low effort.
@MarcelianOnline4 ай бұрын
as someone who has been keeping my eye on patch notes since mid BfA when specs DID NOT even clear mid range content, sorry, but you are wrong 😑
@samsorge274 ай бұрын
Yeah, "being bad" has changed from not being able to clear content to clearing just a few levels lower than the meta comp, while still being able to push far beyond what 90% of the player base even attempts
@CosmicCleric4 ай бұрын
@@MarcelianOnline I think the point being made is that the classes should be fully designed/tested before release, and not modified like crazy during an xpac, maybe multiple times. Personally, I wonder why they have to change the classes so often generally speaking (not bug/tweaking reasons). Sooner or later you're going to run out of numerical combinations for keypresses that classes/specs can do, its a finite amount.
@keithb63444 ай бұрын
@@CosmicClericbecause you don’t balance for what is possible, you balance for what is happening. Fights greatly change depending on what you are doing. A rogue who can tunnel a boss does very different damage than one that has to do mechanics or one that can funnel damage from 3 mobs. Making aff do the same damage on a stand still boss as demo it’s going to crush demo on 3 target spread. Balancing perfectly is not mathematically possible when you add variance in encounter. The fact they get as close as the do is amazing.
@zackprater25404 ай бұрын
This just isn't true. I already can tell what kind of reddit poster you are. Balance changes don't mean your class gets to be ON TOP, just not the worst performing. Also balancing too frequently causes problems of its own. Valve tried to switch to a two week balancing schedule for dota 2 and it was terrible. Decisions for changes were being made on super limited data.
