Interesting. I was sat here like "yeah that makes sense, class sets are different". I personally quite enjoying "going shopping" on my different alts for different sets, and this would turbocharge past a point I'm comfortable with. But I'm probably in the minority there.

I think they will actualy fix this in further alpha / beta. Notice the class in “red” on that item, but it still has “Not yet collected” in light blue under the item card. And maybe we can put them in the warband bank, for the alts to pick it up. It’s an early state of the game so calm down a little

The Warbands system is a great start but I hope they build upon it over time - for example, taking your Warband into a (followers) Dungeon as a group and earning experience and loot as a group.

I think they went wit the clean design to avoid any clipping with the VAST variety of transmog that might affect a Character sitting, standing, moving etc.

I hope they still work on the screen. The one they showed on blizzcon was much better imo. What I think would also be nice and would add flair to it, would be that you can choose your char on the screen. And maybe they do zoom in on it or the char gets ready.

Or you collect stuff and can customize your screen. E.g. dining room from a palace or a loch chamber or just a forest with campfire and tents.

I hope they add a garrison like region where your characters can interact and do different professions with out having to switch characters. Like I could walk up to my enchanter and get access to his enchanting/disenchanting abilities.

The older WoW gets the more things I wish and suggest (in detail) are implemented into the game. I always suggest such things in the wow forum and received so much hate and backfire for it but whenever it gets released people love it. Can't wait for warbands.

as I understand you. If you are familiar with the Warhammer universe, there is such a game - Total War Warhammer 2. I specifically studied how to create mods. created a new game mode - you don’t just need to destroy all factions to win, but capture territories and hold them while receiving victory points(+VP for control/-VP if not). the entire tabletop Warhammer Age of Sigmar is built on such mechanics. I created several game scenarios. but players told me that this is not total war. modders did not participate in the project. after 2 years went by. The 3rd version of the game TWW3 has been released. to which the developers added such a mode. Now these people have opened their mouths and don’t know what to say. as Osho said in Asmongold's video - people are stupid.

I don't mind running a raid multiple times to get specific class sets but I always found it sad when while doing so something neat dropped that I couldn't equip with my current character and it just went to waste so it's nice that this won't be the case anymore!

Do we know if the collecting appearances of weapons and armor for other classes will be retroactive? For example if I have a bow on my paladin sitting in my bank can I get its appearance or do I have to get a fresh drop of that bow?

Adding all the classes in the game into the appearance tab is going to be a massive quality of life change. I'm a huge tmog collector and I'm constantly logging between characters to check raid sets etc. I cannot wait for this change.

The way they set up the warbands favorites, makes me wonder if they will incorporate your alts for delves or solo dungeons with ai Allies. Heck, why not call a favorite warband buddy while you’re out in the world soloing quests, dailies, or resource farming. That way, you always have a buddy with you.

The main 4 characters I tend to focus on ar a DK/Druid/Hunter/Mage so they just happen to be one of each armour class so getting mogs and stuff should be GREAT, warbands and WW in general looking hype

Great, about time accounts are finally seen as "A player" not 20 per server! I have had a server based bank for years, Get a nice guild charter get it signed add a friend or family member invite all your alts then let every signer gquit and do the same for your family member and they also have a server/faction bank.

You can have a max of 60 characters account wide with no server limit. They got rid of server character limits a while ago. They've probably been moving towards this for a long time.

It shouldn't be too hard to make older content from raids in the same system as everything else, it seems they just have to change the tag from soulbound to warband bound. I hope they do that, because when this was first announced everyone's immediate thought was that it would make it so much easier to collect classic raid transmogs.

Love the feature, hate that it already has that blizzard twist. Don't like the gold sink for the tabs. Keeping multiple alts in M+ shape is already a gold sink. The amount of tabs should be equal to the amount of alts you have, since we already payed for the banks for those chars. And I don't get why we still don't have a compact list for the character names? You can only see 12 at once at moment and have to infinity scroll for the rest. Also a sorting system for classes. At least 30 names visible at once should be an option. But this has a lot of potential. In my honest opinion just make the login screen into player housing in future expansions.

Some things where discontinued with the next expansions, some stayed a few expansions and then got dropped. The bad stuff, like the Mission Tables... for some reason kept clinging around.

SWTOR has had this system for 13 years, the Legacy system, but they were smart enough to keep the bank limited to server since I can see with the account wide gold in Warbands you'll see some server economies crash as player consolidate their gold all onto one server and crash the markets.

That is unlikely to happen. Much more significant changes have been made to cross-server economy, including cross server trading, cross server auction houses etc. In every instance people have been doomsaying about how it will crash markets. None of that occurred. Account wide gold will certainly be the least impactful of these changes, there is almost no possibility that markets will be significantly affected by this. For anyone that studied economics, you would also know that expanding the market and increasing liquidity almost invariably improves the health of the market.

The achievement that increases your xp gains once you hit max level on a character is exactly what I've been asking for since I started. It's what heirloom gear should have always been. Amazing feature, easily one of the best things for altoholics ever added.

If it truly is 75% after those 5 characters at level 80; thats really nice. Only issue I see with this though is if you play a character only with a friend & that experience being different. Unless once you party with the player it matches the buff to whoever is highest. Otherwise it mostly looks great so far.

The last two tabs are specifically gold sinks that wouldn’t have otherwise been made available. The warband bank is designed as a means for sharing crafting mats. That much gold is nothing to a crafter.

Not really, seeing as the amount of gold you get for quests and selling items and such goes up with every expansion. Also, your warband bank doesn't replace your personal bank or guild bank. If you really need 4 or 5 more tabs to store things amongst 5+ toons, then you have a hoarding problem and need to clean out your banks.
