Really eye-opening. As someone who races every week in Dallas during the summer months, this really has me thinking. Skratch Daily has helped a bunch already

I am also in the Metroplex and do the 100k up Grand Fondo events. I had a terrible time over the last couple of years with leg cramps right in the middle of a rally. The last 5 rally's this season, I started drinking a bottle with "Skratch Hyper Hydration" on the drive to the event. Only thing that I have used that has worked. Zero leg cramps , best thing that I have ever tried. The taste gets some bad raps, I think it taste ok, and frankly I don't care what it taste like, with the end results.

Great video. If you want to know more, he went deep into this topic on a recent CyclingTips podcast. He tells how to find out how sweaty your salt is without that little device. It's the episode from June 10th.

so how do us plebes figure this out? can i add too much sodium? i always salt my drinks. i use electrolyte tabs mixed with honey and salt in my blender. it seems to work well enough but I would love to know the numbers.

It would be nice if Allen does like scientific Q&A

That's a good idea. We'll see if we can get something like that going. Thanks!

So beyond limits is basically long Skratch labs advertisements?

Of course

Perhaps, but I teach physiology at a medical school and the concepts here are true and you it works well with other electrolyte drinks.

Yes. But is that a complaint? A man’s gotta make a buck, the content is interesting, and it’s free. So what’s there to complain about?
@suburbancyclist15355 жыл бұрын
Not a complaint at all. I actually use Skratch and enjoy it. But label it as an infomercial when it is
@stuartdryer13525 жыл бұрын
@@suburbancyclist1535 I don't really see it as an infomercial since most of the video is about sodium balance due to sweating. Scratch is just a means to deal with sodium depletion but the main message is that one size doesnt fit all when it comes to replacement.

I am salty sweater. My clothes and my skin turn white, I transport so much salt through my salt, that it becomes visible deposition on the surface.
