Thank you! The first of all I would like to mention Rene Descartes opinion about the reason of misunderstanding. According to him we have no agreement about the meaning of the words, terms, concepts and categories. We know that scientists and philosophers often use usual words as terms or sometimes create special terms. For example, Democritus created and used the term atom as philosophical principle of the limitation the infinite division of the matter, - atom means indivisible particle. And when in 19 century scientists had opened the complex nature of atom they had said that Democritus was no right. The scientists didn't understand that there is difference between philosophical concept and scientific entity and function. Anyway we can say that consciousness and matter are philosophical and scientific terms or categories and it is necessary aware our positions in every case of consideration.
