For ordinary mortals, the concept of the divine and the afterlife is often beyond understanding. Throughout history, humans have given names to God, such as Jesus, Krishna, Ram, Rahim, and Waheguru. These divine figures have imparted the message that the soul, or atma, is immortal and that all souls are part of a single, universal entity. According to these teachings, the immortal divine essence is born into mortal form to convey knowledge about morality and the eternal nature of the soul. The relationship between the individual soul (atma) and the universal consciousness (parmatma) is often described as a drop in the vast ocean. While the atma possesses all the qualities of the parmatma, its individual expression is limited in scope. The atma is a localized consciousness that is part of the greater universal consciousness. However, during the human experience, the atma may forget its connection to the larger self. This concept of the relationship between the individual soul and the divine is a central tenet in many spiritual and philosophical traditions, and there is much more that could be said on the subject, but I,m stopping here..Some other time, I will write in details about my thoughts about it..

I can’t disagree or agree I just don’t know I think I understood you For me it’s more do I believe or not believe rather than agree or not And when that problem arises I always ‘choose’ to believe because I know it leads to a more joyful life than the alternative 😊

The reason for the self-awareness and intelligence of every being is due to the self-awareness and intelligence of the air and the earth in which the being arose, and any being cannot be beyond the eternal existence that arose within it, so the phenomenon called death does not exist externally and The end of the life of every creature is a part of the evolution process of this air and earth which is alive and immortal forever.

Dear Dear Dr Chopra, thank you so much for this discussion! I’ve been meditating for many years ( sometimes on and off I’m afraid) and prefer TM ( seems to work best for myself), so have had that vague sense of the beingness around and within me, but I couldn’t express it in words well enough. I did have a NDE 30 years ago, which is why I began to meditate and question about life and what is happening to or within us as humans. It’s truly fascinating. I have the KNOWING of that which you speak. I’m so grateful now to hear someone put it into words. (?) Express it! I don’t pretend to understand totally my experience of my NDE, because it differed greatly to other’s experiences. I only know that that experience began my Spiritual search for truth. Thank you once again, and I truly look forward to hearing you speak again! I suppose the meaning of what I experienced during my NDE is not so important , as it lead me to this point, hearing people like yourself discussing such things! I’m forever Grateful for all I am learning, so Namaste Dr Chopra.

Absolutely yes, based on my own direct experiences of seeing and speaking with so-called dead people. I spoke telepathically with my brother-in-law right after he died & so did my Medium wife. He expressed the very same personality and humor that was there before his body died of cancer. He was the very same person over there but way happier and wiser than when over "here". Our communications went on for many months until he "faded" away or stopped visiting me. There are many ppl in my life who are now living in the Afterlife, so it's a solid fact for me - I just can't prove it to you. If you really want to know, get a reading with a good Medium!

Hello, our spirit goes back to God who gave it. Our soul is eternal, so it will be judged according to whether we accepted Christ our Lord and Savior, or not. The Bible is real and true and the living Word of God. Sorry to burst your bubble, but that is the truth of God. It is for man once to die, then after this, the judgment. Amen.

It seems to me, though that you'll always have relationships that are on a superficial level and that do not really emotionally connect in any meaningful way. You can't have close relationships when you are refusing to know anybody store it. You can not gossip, so that's what you do you know about their story you don't tell the others.

I can only offer my own, direct, factual experiences with "dead" ppl. After his body died of cancer, my brother-in-law was exactly the same person/individual as before BUT much happier & wiser after his body finally gave out. He was very happy to be out of or away from his cancer ravaged body. He telepathically spoke to and with me and also my then Medium wife many, many times. This story is very long and complicated BUT I know (but can't prove) that he (and many others) was totally alive and well right after his body died and we spent quite a lot of time together in various situations. The same happened with my 2 wives & others but I only had direct, personal communications with my brother-in-law. The rest were through Mediums or during dream states. This is not to argue or disagree with Deepak. This is only a tiny fragment of what I saw & know about the death and afterlife of a few individuals close to me.

I can only say what I saw, felt, did & know from direct personal experience. When my brother-in-law died, his body was absolutely DEAD but, he, the living being or person was right there, hovering above his now dead body, and, when he realized that I was aware of him, be began to "speak" with me in a silent, telepathic way. This story is very long and complicated so I can only say that he was totally alive, well and extremely HAPPY in the other realm after his body died. He & I & my then wife had many communications over period of several months but I cannot (currently) prove any of this and most ppl either don't believe it happened or are AFRAID to accept that it happened. The main thing, for me, is that my brother-in-law, 2 wives, mother, brother, grand father and a few others did not die when their bodies died and continued in the "other realm" as alive, happy and extremely wise individuals. There is no death....just transition or moving on in a very different life than is experienced in the physical plane or realm.

I have meditated Zazen full lotus for 30 years and studied under Zen Masters with authentic lineage from both the Mountain Rivers and Green Mountain Schools. Chopra with his quantum body gobbledygook, is a snake oil salesman. Do not invest your time in his teachings. Find yourself an authentic teacher from a buddhist tradition. Then you will make real progress.

I remember some very early awareness, before that was -nothing. Nothing, and then, awareness. My historical memory of those first impressions were: Being a fish. Having several awarenesses, aware of jumping out the water and admiring the silver glint of my swordfish sword in the sun, eating, swimming. I was alone. I didn't feel the water. Overwhelming boredom and angst at my limited range of awareness. Later, my father (who I could see in my memory recall of the situation) capturing me on a fishing pole. No pain, but dismay because I wasn't supposed to let myself be caught. Then, the emotion of overwhelming love from my father as he hauled me up on the boat. His heart was so loving! The next memory awareness I had was being in utero, maybe 5 months, and having a twin brother. The brother was telling me to get out because there wasn't enough room. I tried to do what he said, and told him, I can't, because I am too weak. I was a firstborn, and unless the nun/nurses stole him (the doctor was at lunch), I was alone. They held my mother's legs shut for a half hour because the doctor would be angry if he didn't get to put his signature on the time of birth on the birth certificate. I wasn't breathing and was grey, and they put me in an oxygen tent for 3 days. I don't remember being born though. My next memory was at 6 or 8 months. ??? Born in the 1950s.

Your book will be part of my library, 😊 a new language allows us to better see the changes. Every moment of transition requires change, we can never know all the initial conditions of a complex system in sufficient detail, we cannot hope to predict the final fate of a complex system. Even small errors in measuring the state of a system will be amplified dramatically, rendering any prediction useless. Since it is impossible to measure the effects of all the butterflies (etc) in the world, long-term time estimation has always remained impossible. In any case, there will always be something new for consciousness to experience. 🕉
