Great hunt, if I ever HAVE to hunt with the wind in my face I set some decoys in the 5-20 yard range and put a bunch out at 45+ yards. Usually can short stop them in the gap between. As long as the wind isn't too strong. It's not ideal but it's better than nothing.

wanting to hunt some canada geese here in texas (houston area) . we have an early canada geese season then in november we have a light and dark goose season. Google says that dark geese are the same as Canada geese. If so why would the parks and wildlife call them something different? TIA

hey Josh next season I have a honey hole I goose hunted and literally every time i was out there there were around 600 geese and another 500 ducks. When i was hunting i could not shoot ducks but there were a but load of geese, limited out in 15 minutes, and a lot of pintails and mallards there. So i was thinking if i could take u on a hunt. if there are birds on it, i usually scout it and its crazy how many there are.
