I am not a 2 but ''Someone else's unavailability is not a reflection of who you are, it's not a rejection of your character or worthiness'' was so comforting!❤ Thank you for your great contents!!!

24:09 I consider myself to be a 5w6 and yet I have struggled with being a triad 9/5/2. I say that because listening to this video is actually connecting dots and healing parts of me that have been so confusing for me. Because I have cptsd I suspect that my 2ness is just trauma and as I have worked through my trauma then I’m not as knee jerk #2 as I used to

Can one change types throughout their life?
@ConsciousEnneagram Жыл бұрын
Short answer: no. Longer answer: using the enneagram is a journey of self discovery, understanding your type is only the first step. Once you know your type, a lot can unfold before you, and you’ll certainly work on and through issues that affect all nine types. But the core motivation doesn’t change, and the deeply ingrained patterns will always be there. If you want more support deciphering where you fall, I offer typing interviews and they are a wonderful way to discover your type. :)

Hmm…I thought I was a 9, and now I’m resonating a LOT with this 2 description. 🤔

Nine and two have a lot of similarities. They’re both positive outlook, and both are very externally oriented, which means they take a lot of cues from people around them. How they respond and what they’re motivated by is very different. Twos are motivated by a deep sense of shame, while nines are driven by anger, the catch is, they go to great lengths to hide that anger from themselves and the people around them.

You might also consider a typing interview, Beverly. Abi does a great job asking the key questions to help tell type from type :)
