Good German band and Jennifer Haben, lead singer, has a great voice. You need to do more of them, you will not be disappointed. ❤️🤘🇦🇺

*The name of the male guest vocalist (who also played the bagpipes) is Ben Metzner. He is in 2 other bands [ 1. Feuerschwanz / 2. D' Artagnan ]. Greetings & Stay safe.* 🎵

Beyond the black do have some really cool songs. For a heavy song you should check out "Halleluja" live. Jennifer is a fantastic singer

They managed to find all kinds of unique instruments and actually make them fit. Very cool arrangement of a lovely piece of music.

Yay some good Beyond the Black =) Really great stripped down version of the song. You should watch some more BTB and Feuerschwanz (the band of the guest singer). ✌️

Yay, Beyond the Black. I love this song (original - that I think you would also like with the Gregorian chants in it - and this version). They recorded it at a recent online acoustic show which was amazing. Didn't know Symphonic Metal songs would sound so good as acoustic versions, but Beyond the Black is very good at that. On this online show they played their own songs, but in December 2020 they released a few acoustic covers which are also worth a watch/listen (Down with the Sickness - Disturbed, Warrior's Call - Volbeat, The Trooper - Iron Maiden and To Hell and Back - Sabaton). In those videos you can see more instruments Jennifer can play. I would be happy to see you react to more by them. When you wanna see a good live video with a little bit more oomph and audience I recommend "Hallelujah" (not a cover) again: kzbin.info/www/bejne/b3eli2Zpf5V6jc0 Ben is in the bands Feuerschwanz (medieval rock/metal and a lot of fun 😬) and dArtagnan (folk rock). Both sing in German, although I know of at least one cover song in English (Feuerschwanz - I See Fire by Ed Sheeran) and one with some English lyrics (also Feuerschwanz - Ding by Seeed, a German Raggae/Dancehall etc.-Band). The latter is pretty interesting, because it has a guest singer (Melissa Bonet) and have you ever imagined listening to a kinda Raggae song covered in a metal style?

I have never heard this band before. I'm intrigued now! I just went and saved about 6 of their other songs on my list to look back on in a bit. Thanks for posting things that no one else ever does! This is great! (oh, and Happy Mothers Day tomorrow) Oh, and another band that uses the bag pipes a lot is Tanzwut. They do a colab with Mono Inc which I know you have reacted to. Here is a link to Right for the Devil by Mono Inc feat. Tanzwut. kzbin.info/www/bejne/Y5Cnhqmqd8-Vr68

The new intro may have more cowbell but I really like that it now comes with two times more Brittney.

For a different take on bagpipes other than the likes of Eluveitie, check out Apocalypse Orchestra!

If you want to hear some xylophone you can check out Frank Zappa ' Inca Roads' from about 1973. Ruth Underwood is an excellent percussionist
