I recently saw Beyond The Black perform live and they were absolutely amazing. Plus they sound even heavier live too. And if you like this then you have to check out their video for the song ‘Reincarnation’. 🤘🏻🙂

Wow, surprised you have this jewel in your reaction list. Definitely my favorite song by BTB, and clearly their most intricate piece. I absolutely like the various changes in rhythm and atmosphere. It's got everything from heavy sound via guitar solos (both electronic and acoustic), growls, and an amazing, sometimes heavenly female lead voice. Too bad BTB are so generic in many of their songs. They could be so much better if they showed more variety in the style of Forget My Name.

There's a few bands out there like this. One power song where the music is intricate and plays off the vocals. Then the band goes for good but not great songs. They have the talent but the more modern we get, the more generic we seem to get. Lots of existing symphonic metal bands going down that route. Too bad. These are first class musicians and vocalists. Can you imagine what we could here if they put the effort from a song like this into an album?
