I eventually ended up here thanks to Jacksepticeye mentioning Zone of the Enders while playing Kerbal Space Program. Thanks to him, and getting the HD collection for free on Xbox One, has built this franchise into my mind. Awesome.

@Donkey I still listen to some of it almost 20 years later. They got my hopes up with rumors about ten years ago and with the remastered edition of one and two. This is a franchise worthy of a revival, but, if it doesn't, I still had a great time with what we got. It is one of those that I play again at least every year or two.

Unfortunately, Kojima said ZOE team has been broken up and stopped development of 3rd in latest Hidechan radio because they messed up HD version... I'm so sad.

I know this is a response to an old comment but they dont really need to make a 3rd ZOE game. They left the 2nd runner at a good point, Leo got his happy ending, Dingo got his revenge and Jehuty's/ADA's intended purpose was fulfilled.
