You are seriously one of the most underrated videograohers on youtube and i love you're videos. No only the fly fishing but the lessons woven in with it. With love from Washington State ❤

Thank you so much for the kind words. You made my weekend. Hopefully I will get a few more good ones out this summer. Tight lines and hope you get some fishing in during the winter or at least planning fishing.

@CrazyAboutFlyFishing Yeah the steelhead will be running in December through February but other than that I probably won't be able to do too much fishing. I'm mainly looking forward to the June run steelhead though because it's a good marker for the start up of fly fishing season. Plus the mountains thaw and I can do some of my favorite subalpine fishing hahaha. Tight lines!
@CrazyAboutFlyFishing Жыл бұрын
@echofc983 Well I hope you catch a steelhead or two while you wait for the mountains to thaw. Tight lines.

Yeah, it's been a strange one for so far. Hopefully I'll get at least a couple of big trips in over summer. Heard a very early cicada this week. Must be confused.

What a beautiful stream and what nice fish live in it... Glad you are posting again.

It's a lovely piece stream indeed. Would love to fish it in cicada season. Hopefully I will post a few more videos over summer but still not back to regular ones. I'm planning to make the ones I do post worth it at least.

Hi Johan, nice to see you back again. That fish you got in your “local stream” was a lovely fish for the local. I know that our Club members put a lot of effort in the seventies to clear up our local waters and re stock them. When I first started fishing the Auckland area, I checked out the local streams, rivers and lakes but found access quite difficult yet definitely worth the effort. Those fish that you and Pavel hooked into were some beautiful fish. Isn’t it strange that the more effort you put into fishing the luckier you get! Cheers mate. Harera

It's certainly worth the effort to get to some off the beaten track areas from time to time and the more your flies are in the water the better your luck gets for sure.
