Beyond the Fringe - from the 'Aftermyth of War' sketch.

Part of a much longer sketch, 'The Aftermyth of War', which consisted of several scenes, although this is all I have.
From 'Beyond the Fringe' which began its run in 1961.
I discovered recently that a complete visual recording exists of a performance of Beyond the Fringe and is now available on DVD (Region One format).

The first person to die in BomberCommand, had the surname 'Perkins'. The last person to die in BC, had the surname, 'Perkins'. 21 people died in Bomber Command called 'Perkins'. Hence the sketch!!! From MartynPank. A BC anorak!!!

@@Upstreamprovider In the preface to Bomber Boys by Patrick Bishops, he refers to the poignancy of this sketch being watched in 1961 by former RAF men barely into middle age. They were asked to make such sacrifices in the knowledge it was likely to be goodbye, and did it anyway.

It's January 13, 2021, last week the US Congress was invaded by rioters. This sketch should be updated: Official: "Mr President, things are going very badly, we need a futile gesture. Fly down to Mar-a-Lago. Don't come back.
