My wife and I love your videos! We lived in The Pas Manitoba for a few years in the late 90s. I worked in electronics for the railroad. I had one of those suvs done up with the wheel package to ride on the rails. Travelling on the rails through that northern wilderness was a neat experience. It was like riding through the bush on a snowmobile or ATV. I only got up to Churchill once but really enjoyed that 500 mile trip or so on the track. We also loved you and your family's trip to the Yukon. We lived up in Inuvik NWT for a few years in the 80s. I worked for the phone company so did much travelling by aircraft and by ice road, especially the 109 miles up to Tuktoyaktuk in the winter. We loved Whitehorse but it never worked out for us to move down there. Watching your videos brings back a lot of great memories. We always look forward to the next one. It's nice you were able to share this adventure with your brother. Take care.

@JimBairdAdventurer3 жыл бұрын
I dint realize that I say eh until I go to the states. It’s pretty good really, it’s used to let it be known that it’s a question in some respect but also that you want a response. Like if I said to you, “this fish is good eh?” You would be expected to nod or say ya, or no. My American family in California says huh in place of eh, and in England they’ll say “isn’t it” in place of eh. Like “this fish is good isn’t it?”
