I had a BLAST riding the new 2024 Road Glide and cannot wait to see what the AFTERMARKET development looks like.

I just grabbed the white with chrome RG 2024

AWESOME!!! Congratulations! That is a nice looking bike. Hopefully you live somewhere that you can ride thru your first oil change soon

@ I live in Atlanta but close to Macon so yes I do, I just hit the 500mi on Saturday

@Gliding-RidingAndSmiling DOPE! We're looking at highs of 45° up here in DC. I'm glad you don't have to wait until the Spring to finish. That would be a lot of quick 1 to 2 mile trips to the store. 😂

I appreciate your thoughts on the RG. I picked up a white onyx pearl RG this past weekend and I'm in love with it. I was ready for an update and the 2024 feels so much different than my 2009 RG. It felt more nimble and was easy into corners. It is a great base for my subtle mod plans. Thanks for capturing and sharing your test ride.

Thats GREAT! I'm glad you like it. It was hard walking away from the bike I test rode. That White Onyx Pearl is an awesome color. Harley-Davidson knocked it out of the park with the single model by making it a great base for mods. THANKS for watching!

Gburg where is that

😂 Its about a 25 mile ride from DC out to Montgomery County - Maryland. Its usually a nice little 45 minute ride to get there.

The pearl white and blackened out is sharp.
@BuildRideRepeat8 ай бұрын
OH YEAAH!!! It sure is sharp. That would be the color that I would buy when its time. Thanks for watching!

Street glide guy here… I'm just gonna get it started… How many more years do you think before the fairing on the road glide is bigger than the rest of the bike? 😂😂
@BuildRideRepeat10 ай бұрын
This guy... 😂😂😂 It looked weird when those "leaked" pics dropped. It's not bad now. But, that "1901" fairing is "YUGE!"

My only gripe about the new Glides is that even though it has a low seat height, the seat in itself is wider than the previous gen. Aside from that, love the bike.

H-D made sure that there was enough cushion for all the miles you're gonna want to get on your new bike. 😂 Thanks for watching

I normally like chrome over blacked out... but that white with black looks great
@BuildRideRepeat10 ай бұрын
YES! The White has a pearlescent look that didn't show well without the sun. It would be my pick as well. I was surprised how good it looked in person.

LAWDHAMMERCY! I'm glad that I'm not the only one. The custom aftermarket parts are gonna be awesome for these things.

I'm really looking hard at upgrading from my 17 sgs or may just keep it for a spare and get a new roadglide!

If you're not attached to it, TRADE IT IN!!! You won't be disappointed. This bike is a HUGE step in a direction that people weren't expecting.

There is one problem that I can see with the new street or road glide and that is how close the radiator is to the front wheel without a proper finder to protect it. It’s only a matter of time before you have a puncture. The fix is putting a wheel hugger finder from advanblack on it. Sure you could glue a plastic finder extender on it and hope that it stays on. Apart from that I like the bike. Harley did a good job.

You've got a point. I personally like full front fenders and would probably add one to mine. 🤞🏾🤞🏾

I’m sorry that salesmen needs to educate himself more. While navigation is subscription based that’s not all there is to it. You can activate the navigation feature for $350. Once you do that you ALWAYS have the navigation and you have a 3 year subscription to live traffic, weather overlays and map updates. After the 3 years you just don’t have access to the live traffic, weather or updates without a subscription.
@BuildRideRepeat10 ай бұрын
Duly noted. Even so, most would not know about the subscription and will probably prefer the Car Play/Android Auto option. Thanks for watching.

@@BuildRideRepeat100%. Just keep in mind by default the 23.5 CVO and the 24 touring bikes don’t have support for android auto from the factory Android doesn’t support motorcycles anymore. You can however enable this by getting a dongle and plugging it into the USB-C.

🤯 WOW! THANKS for the info. I will definitely be educating myself more about this especially since I'm an Android guy.

😂🤣😂🤣 It crossed my mind. I also realized that I wouldn't have a place to park it with me and my dad's bike already at my house.

They can kick rocks with that subscription based crap. When I go out to ride the fun part is not knowing where I'm going, I just let my eyes lead me to where it looks interesting and fun and gas stations are on every corner so I don't need a GPS for that either. I'll find my way home eventually.😎
