Beyond the pink door Unboxing Box 27

I decided to subscribe to btpd and this was my first box, such a vibrant colour and print! I got the purple and orange colourway, I never would’ve chosen this but I’m excited to try it and wear it. I might use it for the summer in New York but I’m thinking a shirt dress might be better …exciting! 😊

Fringe dress would be lovely, Sam. I've made a mash up with the Donny Shirt and the skirt from the Davenport dress which I think worked well. I got the orange and purple colour way and am not quite sure what to make with it.

Oh, Sam, that fabric is absolutely stunning! I may be in the minority here, but the Fringe Dress would be beautiful in that fabric. Whatever you decide to make with it will be beautiful. Thank you for sharing with us.

I received the lavender and orange fabric, but like you, I love the blue and fuchsia one the best. I hadn't considered the Fringe dress, but I do have the pattern. I may have to use it to make a mock up. ??? A lot to consider. 🤔

I have made the Donny shirt and New Look 6437 skirt in the same fabric so together looks like a dress but can also wear separately. Hope you find a swap to get the blue fabric 🤞🏻

I got the orange and purple, not really keen it’s a bright dominant combination - I’ll have to put it away for a while and consider what I can make - that I will look good in, rather than the fabric wearing me
