I order from Fabric Mart way too much. And I must say their packaging always is charmingly hilarious. I feel like it's someone's very determined uncle in the packing department making use of whatever he can find on hand. But he gets the job done in his own way! 😂

I think Fabric Mart gives you a lot more for your money. All usable big pieces of fabric. I love Fabric Mart.

Glad you did the unboxing from Mood as well (saw that video first). Although the linen isn't your ideal piece, come summer and it's hot, it would make an adorable little floaty dress, accessorized with black sandals, black jewelry, and a little black bag. Or, you could make a nice top for Joe. You could make a Rhapsody Blouse from Love Notions patterns and go with the boho look (black hoops would look really cute with it), and a wicker purse! Personally, I appreciate the economical packaging from Fabric Mart. I'm careful with the scissors as I open the bag, but it's so much less cumbersome than a box that I have to break down. I use the bag that the fabric comes in as a trash can liner or scrap catcher while I'm sewing. Enjoy! Can't see what you make. I buy fabric from Fabric Mart all the time and I love them. Awhile back I bought a 10 yard mystery box, while the fabrics were nice and the box was varied, I won't be doing it again. I am not sewing for anyone else so I do better buy their clearance fabrics since I can pick the colors and fabrics. I might buy the lace bundle, it looks really versatile.

The needles alone made that haberdashery bundle WELL worth it! I'll have to keep an eye out for when they release more. I had a good experience with the $3 Bag O' Buttons from Cali Fabrics. Lots of sets of buttons so that you can actually use them for projects, and they're pre-sorted into gold/silver, black, and white buttons, so less random. Would love to see a Mood Fabrics mystery box!

I just got that tan paisley to make my husband a shirt for vacation this June! I thought that the fabric was nice and even though it said dry clean only, I washed it on a delicate cold wash! Dried low temp for a short while and then hung it until totally dry. Hope this helps a little! I love your channel!💕🙂

the gray would make a cute cape. Use the paisley as a dressy blouse or flowy dress. wear with black or gray. So very classy. T pins are also used to secure sofa covers along the seams.

Ahhhh! It is SO FRUSTRATING when companies jam stuff in a poly mailer like that! I recently got an order of fabric packaged like that… you are almost guaranteed to accidentally damage the fabric opening it or getting damaged going through the mailing system 🫣

The linen paisley could be used with the wrong side out. I did that with one that was a floral with a background outside my color pallet. The wrong side was a nice muted shade.
