Nicely done - very much captures the essence of Moriyama’s approach. The aspect is of the “are-bure-broke” style might sound simple. I mean, can’t we all take out of focus shots ? But in his style, this imperfection requires a mastery of technique.

Thank you so much! 😊 I'm really glad you think the video captures the essence of Moriyama’s approach. The "are-bure-boke" style may seem simple, but you're right - it takes a true mastery of technique to achieve that kind of impactful imperfection. Have a wonderful day, and stay tuned for more content. If you haven't already, please subscribe, like, and share with anyone who might enjoy it. Cheers! 📷✨

Very well done, thanks for doing this. I would like to see him doing some work on the calm part of Japanese society, where time goes on slowly and see how he would approach it. He is my favorite photographer of all time, his vision goes over the simple concept of documenting places and people, and he is able to transform everything into a small world where everything and everyone exist and fight and love. He is very unique.

Thank you so much for this video. I had heard of Moriyama but had not seen much of his work. It's so helpful to get an overview like this. It's remarkable how few of his color works used golden hour light that so many photographs rely on. Moriyama’s light is often drab or harsh. That is as it should be. Life isn’t just one long beautiful golden hour with saturated colors and warm tones. So why should so many photographs look like that? I look at Moriyama’s photographs and I see inside them a world that has pain and disappointment, just like the real world.

All of your videos are excellent . Thank you . Off subject - are the voice overs / narration computerized / AI ?
@Joel_Ulises
@Joel_Ulises Жыл бұрын
Hey Elizabeth! Thanks for your kind words, they really motivate me to keep improving my content. The voices are actually generated by AI, but I personally write the entire script. It's just that, you know, I feel like my voice isn't as smooth as a professional announcer's - haha! So, for now, I think I'll stick with doing it this way. Down the road, when I've got a bit more budget to spare, I'm thinking of hiring a real pro to handle the voice part. Sending greetings all the way from Spain! Have an awesome weekend, and make sure to stay tuned for more videos! Catch you later!

It seems to me that mr Moriyama has difficulties understanding color. Luminosity is essential but colors? Then of course he is not alone in having difficulties with them, many have. His bw photos are phenomenal. Thanks for this video.
