This made me realize I need to get better with answering my phone and being on time. As a true crime addict, I hear so many stories where the family, friends or coworkers of the murder victim knew something was off right away because the victim was usually prompt and always answered calls. So they were able to discover pretty much immediately that they are missing. With how horrible I am with responding to calls/texts, I think it would take like a good week before my family even knew anything was wrong. Lol I’m so serious. If I missed calls all day, they’d just think that was the norm. This teaches me to get better with my phone and my timeliness. A lesson to take away from this tragedy.

The green light is especially good at contrasting certain stains (red comes to mind). The light of a flashlight also makes it harder to miss stuff when scanning g quickly.
@jademoon79389 ай бұрын
It's because they can't waste time looking for a switch and if the lights are turned on and then off, they are blinded temporarily and that's dangerous. Turning the lights on distracts you and it disables you if you lose them.
@TwoBs9 ай бұрын
Because they’re investigating a scene as is. Most of the time they’re going around without gloves on as most calls aren’t expected to be a major crime scene, and their purpose when canvassing an area is to come in and inspect it as is without tainting anything with their own DNA or manipulation (ie: turning on lights). Sometimes, there are instances where it can’t be helped, such as footprints or touching something and accidentally leaving fingerprints before the area is known to be an active crime scene. So, to minimize everything as much as possible, they try to leave most of the major stuff alone … which lighting would fall under that category as they’d intentionally be manipulated how a scene is seen. Once photos and most evidence is collected without turning on lights, then they will usually turn them on and go over things again to see if anything was missed or is more visible. Every little detail at a crime scene is important, and lighting can very well be one of them with noting how a scene visually is before and after lights are added.

Michelle clairly aided him through the all deed out of loyalty or whatever, and still, he traded her for Anna. What did she thought when she started dating a married man? Once a cheater, always a cheater. If they thought it was ok once, they’ll do it again. Maybe not with the same person, or the same reasons. Can’t change their morals with something like that.

it would add pressure to the decision making process: which bath should I take now? Should I make a schedule? Why 9? Should I add to 14 to make the schedule easier? First world problems...better just have 2 baths. Maybe 3. To be away from the wife and kids.

What an evil & clearly selfish person Fotus was ... not to mention punk that would leave his children w/o a mother, and even some ex gf to face the rest of it alone. Glad she was found guilty, bet the jurors didn't have that hard of a time figuring it out. Smdh... seems like Fotus was a narcissist too.

Why dont the police ever just turn the lights on when searching a house?
@mckennadishongh21604 ай бұрын
When searching her house it was dusk, the house was incredibly dark. I agree turning on lights upstairs the way they did with the garage and basement may have helped them see the tiny blood drops beforehand, and they would have stopped handling doors and cabinets with bare hands. They touched blood spattered doorknobs multiple times before realizing there was blood on them. The house was dark. Else they wouldn't need their flashlights except for dark corners. I don't understand why not hit a light switch just to improve visibility. It was definitely not broad daylight

This is so tragic. Who murders a mother of five beautiful innocent children? What kind of evil monster does that? Well done to the very observant and caring neighbour. He helped solve the case. The killer was not that smart but simply evil. Traconnes was just used and realised too late how dumb she was thinking she could replace another woman🤨. Really dumb😼
