I met Sam at World War Brick 2024. Really nice guy with an encyclopedic level of knowledge regarding these ships. Also caught him at Brickiworld Chicago a week later!

@@legohistorysam USS Vesuvius had 15in dynamite guns not 16 inches. Though nice to see someone built this obscure ship in American history.

I went to Oahu two weeks ago. And I went to the uss Missouri museum. And when he says that these guns are big, they really are B I G. This was an awesome fleet of battleship models!

No, it’s USS Fletcher because Johnston had a square bridge and Fletcher head round bridge. You can see in the video. Fletcher has a round bridge.
