Interesting chibi style builds. Even more interesting the audio cut out. I'll just imagine what he said and keep it to myself. :-) Really incredible condensed builds and they're all different despite being so similar on paper. Round saucer + nacelles. These could be great Lego bag sets if made generic. Very swooshable to get kids hooked on Lego.

I think the Danube class is the most impressive. Most of the ships have really distinct shapes that are easier(relatively) to get across individually. But the danube has an almost identical shape to most shuttle craft. That it is instantly recognisable as the Danube class and not just a generic shuttle, with so few pieces blows me away.

I don't see the Aledo among those LDS builds. The Texas class may have been short-lived, but I think it was at least worthy of mention. Regardless of that, as someone who owns legos but lacks the attention (and most pieces) to build accurate models, I applaud these. I was particularly thrilled by the VOY ones, especially the Delta flyer and the Equinox as I'm a sucker for small ships and moving parts.

Bluebrixx sell the lego ships. I got the original enterprise, enterprise d and e, the nxo1, the defiant and the voyager. All in a large side. Fun to build i only mis the lights for the nacelles
@TheOtherGuys22 жыл бұрын
A lot of those look really great! I gotta be honest though, the Enterprise D and E kinda don't really do it for me. I do like the way a lot of the nacelle pylons are done, though even with that clever technique it still looks a little... thick. :P Lego is just not made for that. If he runs out of Star Trek ships, he should start with other, lesser-seen sci fi things. Not the same Star Wars and Halo that everyone does, but like Stargate SG-1, Babylon 5, Battlestar Galactica...
@kenten2 жыл бұрын
Kinda feels like the Enterprise D was the very first one he did, so it feels pretty basic in comparison to all of these other gorgeous ones. Maybe it's time to go back and redo that one, increase the size by 25-50% to get more fidelity.

@@marcch72 No idea how those licensing deals do work. They stated in previous videos they would have it for the EU, Switzerland, Norway and UK. @hamamatsucho2 жыл бұрын
Well that is just the difference of what you get when needing to stick to available pieces and a manufacturer just producing the pieces it needs to make the ship happen. So for what he got available in just using Lego pieces its not bad at all.
@marcch722 жыл бұрын
@@hamamatsucho Bluebrixx also just uses regular pieces for their builds. No specialized parts. The Bluebrixx sets are produced by Xingbao in China
@hamamatsucho2 жыл бұрын
@@marcch72 I meant to say it does show in the builds shown in the video when you are just limited to the pieces and colors a manufacturer is giving you. Of course BlueBrixx lets their sets produce by Xingbao with all the molds they got available and not have new molds with a never before seen piece created. But when they need a piece in a certain color they just have it produced that color.
@marcch722 жыл бұрын
@@hamamatsucho I know he is just a single person buying the parts that he needs. I am surprised btw that they let him sell these at all. The prototypes of the Bluebrixx sets are made in Germany and are very colorful. It's Paramount/CBS that decides the final color from the existing color palette that is available.
