Im totally on Violet's side in this trailer. Too many parents are slack when it comes to proper hygiene. I always had to police my younger siblings on that. Also, I'm super curious about why she tries to ruin her own suit. She must have a reason.

Grace, there are 2 portals and there are in a straight path in front of each other. One you go in (the one you’re facing) and the other you go out (the one behind you), so when you stand in front of the entrance you can see through the exit, which is why Dash can see himself and why it looks like there are infinite portals and Dashes

I think the reason they chose to do the sequel with the kids still being kids is that they wanted to get more time with the kids learning about their powers, I also think they wanted to mess around with Jack Jacks powers a bit more before making him older.

How dash evolved his speed into portals and how violet turned her forcefield into projections really gave me an avatar vibe! They would turn earthbending into metalbending and water into bloodbending in that show. Just having fun with the possibilities of the elements.

I think I figured out the reason why Violet is so moody in the trailer. We don’t know if this new house is in the same city, and at the end of the first movie you see Violet making friends and agreeing to go on a date with Tony! So if they were forced to move to another city because they were arrested after the Underminer scene or Helen’s new job and house causes the family to move then it means a new school for the kids and most likely Violet losing her new friends AND date with tony, causing her to be upset about being a superhero and having powers again. Idk just a theory but it seems pretty spot on

With regard to the Red Suits, I bet Mr. Incredible and Elastigirl are wearing their vintage suits so that they can be recognized as Elastigirl and Mr. Incredible. In the last film, supers hadn't been around for years, so maybe people didn't recognize them

Violet reminds me of a cross between The Invisible Woman and Scarlet Witch. I hope she uses some form of Telekinesis with her force fields. She seems like the least offensive of the Incredibles family, she needs a power boost.

Hidden Storm Violet reminds me of Scarlet Witch because of her attitude and power set. Think about it: Scarlet Witch uses a red form of energy to fight, Violet uses a purple energy to fight. Both Violet Parr and Wanda Maximoff have a emo aesthetic.

In the scene where Dash is running through the portals, he's carrying Jack. I think he's carrying him because Jack is the only one in the family who can teleport, maybe he can create portals as well! One thing I love about the Incredibles movies that they don't do the "awkward stumbling around with superpowers" thing - everyone is amazingly competent and creative using their abilities.- they are pros rather than super-powered amateurs. Elasti-Girl ieems highly skilled outside of her abilities, as we've seen she can fly a jet and ride a motorcycle.

As far as Violet is concerned, as an oldest child I "momed" to my siblings a lot. It really irritated them. Also, I wouldn't be surprised if they were in a different city and she's pissed that she had to leave her new boyfriend. Plus, she's probably angry that they won't even let her and Dash be involved when before they said (or implied? It's been a while) that they would do the heroing as a family

19:23 Dash is holding jack-jack, and we already know he can teleport. Maybe in that scene dash finds out if you are near jack-jack, he can create portals and they're using it to their advantage for whatever reason. Jack-jack still can't control his abilities, which explains why dash can see himself in the portal (they're being teleported in the same room again & again) which leads both in a loop where dash runs into the portal over and over again....if that makes sense.

Maybe when Dash is running through the portals, that is the powers of the new character, Voyd? Her powers are to "create voids that allow objects to shift in space, disappear, and reappear." Maybe that's not exactly a portal power, but it seems similar. Now I have an idea as to why Dash is running through them and why Dash and Violet are dressed in supersuits: to save Elastagirl? I remember that Grace said Voyd is going to be an assistant to Elastagirl, so maybe Voyd gets information that Elastagirl is in trouble. Then, she gets the Parr kids to help rescue their mother? I may be completely wrong, but it seems feasible.

Grace, the portals work like two mirrors you can go through and each mirror leads you to the other mirror. In the case of the scene, the two mirrors are directly faced opposite side of each other so when Dash passes through one, he will come out through the other. Have you ever placed a mirror opposite another mirror? It creates that infinity loop thing. Portal is basically the same idea. (It's actually pretty easy to comprehend)

If you notice, all of the villains are not Supers. Bomb Voyage, Syndrome, Underminer, and ScreenSlaver use technology and weapons to compensate for superpowers.
