That's a very well crafted video ! It seems they changed the spawn, as it used to spawn on "inland water" instead of swamp. I do appreciate it tho, it's a pain to find anything that spawn in inland water (like spino) because most of the spawn are fish.

I did notice that I am finding less spawns in rivers and inland water, I do believe they can still spawn in those areas like the Sarco but it's quite rare, someone did see one spawn in the shallow waters on the snow island beach which can sometimes spawn the odd Sarco! I do agree! It's nice that they do mainly spawn in the swamps!

Btw, you can just use the same shadowmane taming trap to tame this think. A 2x2 that has 2 walks on each side. The croc won’t aggro to you once it is in and you can feed it through the wall.

Sometimes they would swim up to me, then bite me then turn around, other times that would swim away the moment I came close. Definitely interesting on what is and what is not aggressive towards the deino.

The main differance Ive seen is they upped drag weight considerably. Rhynio cant pick the asa version where you could in the mod. Meaning its to heavy to go in boss fights.

Not sure they would be, they aren't immune to the Cnidaria stun and dismount or the eel shock attacks, so it's very hard to say, maybe if you had very good saddles but I'd still probably pick my Megs and Basilosaurus over it!

@@sebastiengelinas696 Maybe if you have a good breeding line and aren't scared to lose them haha, I'd be so scared of losing them, those underwater caves can be brutal, I think last time I ran them I had 10 Megs and a Basi all with 100 plus armour saddles, admittedly Caverns Of Lost Hope was easier for me in ASA, Lost Faith was ridiculous!! I had to brute force my way through over 100 Megalodons including alphas, it was so badly overspawned in there, it was almost mission impossible 🤣

Nope and you don't need the mod for the Gigantoraptor any more btw. I don't even know why they left the mod there, thankfully they scratched that idea of adding the community voted creatures as a downloadable mod, they will spawn naturally unless they change it in the future! Hope that makes sense :)

Is it immune to stuns and dismounts? That's like the singular most important info for whether or not it supplants the Basilosaurus as a main water mount and maybe I'm missing it, but none of the videos on Deinosuchus seem to have that info.

It's because it isn't immune to anything, all those annoying creatures will stun and dismount you, Even Kapros if aggro'd can dismount the player off the top I would include info like that in the video if it was immune to anything XD

No problem! :D....Sadly they take damage from all those annoying creatures, Jellyfish will stun and dismount the rider and are also effected by the Electrophorus attacks!

I tested everything out, would have included it in the video if it was, it's not immune to any of those creature attacks, must admit the Xiphactinus hasn't dismounted my rider yet but if the Kapro can do it i would assume the Xiphactinus can too!

Either way I’m very excited about Deinosuchus I’ve been wanting to use it since it came out as a mod but I don’t really like using mods so very happy it’s finally come to official I can get the super swamp puppy. It’s weird that it’s level 70 tame requirement though. Also does it deter piranha like Sarco?

Yeah I guess it's a little odd not having a death roll, definitely one of the cooler creatures to be added! I must admit I haven't tested that yet, I will once I get back on the game and let you know!

It's kinda weird with the Piranha, a lot of the time they seem to swim up to you then turn around swimming the other way and other times they have attacked the Deino then swam off, so it doesn't deter them so to speak but the Piranhas definitely don't just want to swarm attack it either, very odd XD

I'd say I can usually see around 10-15 spawn on the map at a time...have you done a dino wipe? If not try killing everything off in the swamp and see if any spawn in!

@@BEYPlaysGames that is up to you if you want to do it but thx for the offer I did a bit of research on reddit and found mix responses some saying it dosent some saying it does i have been wanting to use the Dino wipe command but find it to risky but I am tempted like I'm actually playing ASA after a 4 month break because new dinos weren't spawning like for example in my world there's only 2 low level spinos and I was looking for boss fighting rexes but only low levels spawned and when I killed them no more spawned so that why I gave up but now I finally decided to come back to the game

If it's the spot where you can spawn on the snow beach there's a few Sarcos that occasionally spawn in the shallow waters there so that's probably why as they share spawns with the Sarco, I doubt you'd see them commonly in that spot 🤣

I was collecting the mid-northern most river loot crates below the ruins that's usually totally safe to enter from water, and a wild male 95 was up to the left by the stairs entrance from inside the ruin above that area full of pearls and the two blue crates.

Well in a way yes, most of the ARK additions creatures are coming to ASA! I've watched streams from the mod owner and i would assume it's all a mutual agreement and he was compensated well for them using his modded creatures in the base game! I believe there will be 7 more creatures added from the mod!
