13:02 Freeze them with a Snow Owl and build a dozen Stone Gates on them to block them from jumping out. Really easy tame, just gotta act fast once it’s frozen.

@ I’d have the same thought process if I was in your place! Both are such amazing creatures. Snow Owls have nutty utility and mobility, Manas are mobility incarnate and do good enough damage as a travel mount. Man, next DLC’s gonna have a bar to hit after these two!

@@gen8901 Haha yeah, it was the toughest decision I have made all year 🤣 joking. I totally agree, I think Extinction really did add the best DLC creatures to the game! Velonasaur, Gacha, Snow Owl, Mana and even the Gasbags are all mainstays for every player on every map😁

Initially I didn’t care all that much for the Gasbags because the first and only one I tamed died quickly to fall damage. But if it helps lighten loads, I’ll give it another shot.

Haha yeah that is the issue, don't forget to dismount it before hitting the ground, or even way before that cause of game lag potentially, much better our characters dying than it dying XD that's what i always tell myself anyway. At least it's better for the player to die in PVE. Maybe not ideal in PVP haha.

Its funny that the Gasbags' rider now is on where it should have the saddle, but because saddle is not required for one rider the character just floats like the Gasbags is forcetamed 😅

Your videos never disappoint! I actually did watch a top 10 creature type video a few days ago but it doesn't compare to the quality of yours. The other video missed out a lot of key information about each creature, for example, only stated that the Snow Owl heals tamed creatures, didn't seen mention healing wilds too lol and that is one of my favourite things about them!! Gasbags have an interesting "feature" carried over from ASE. They can be carried by 3 creatures, only one native to EXT, Quetz/Wyvern/Rhynio's, but when carried the flying creature ignores the Gasbags inventory weight. You can effectively carry an infinite amount of weight, limited only by the gasbags weight stat, and only the gasbags drag weight counts towards the overall weight.

Is it not just better to use a Gasbags itself though, I mean you can just stop to the point where it can fly and it’s waaaay faster than all those flyers anyway. That’s my own opinion ofcourse but yeah it’s way better just to use a Gasbags with its own weight what I my opinion

Quick tip for anyone running Legendary OSDs with Charchas; They stop healing if their food bar is empty. So, between rounds, manually force feed them! If you’re mutating, mutate food too.

Never has been as far as I know, from what I remember you'll need a lot of pellets and can only get like 70% taming effectiveness when using those on 1x taming :) it would be like the equivalent of using thatch structures.

I know this might sound like a stupid question but does the Carchar really spawn on the map? I used a Dino finder mod on my server and it doesn’t show up on it, maybe it’s just the mod but I just want to know for sure so I don’t waste my time looking for one

Argentavis for its versatility, Giga which is the next best thing to the Carcha, Deinosuchus although having a lack of water can still be strong and fun to use, Mantis (but unsure if you can actually tame the ones in the desert cave) great for farming in general and harvesting element veins and probably the Thylacoleo due to its strong bleed attack and versatile traveling capabilities. :)

Wait could someone elaborate on the Dread Structure Dmg Share? Does that mean like, if a big critter hits the Dread, and say, 8 metal foundations and 24 walls and 8 ceilings, n say it did like, 1k to the dread, then it would take another idk, 1k per structure hit, for an extra 40k dmg?

I believe so yes, i'd need to properly test it but I was watching someone stream that went into battle with a full base built on top and the Dreadnoughtus died to the forest titan in just a few hits, my memory isn't the best but I think it was dealing over 20K health per hit to the Dread!

Was about to say about the patch, Was honestly in the making of the video when they released the patch so luckily it was perfect timing otherwise I probably would have had something along the lines of having no idea how to find a blueprint for one which ofcourse wasn't ideal as a high level is sooo much better than a primitive one XD...Glad we got that update quickly!

@@TnT28653 It is abit rough tbh, I use a Carcha or Giga while having a full hazard suit equipped (Hazard suit will take damage but it will protect you from the fire breath until one piece breaks)

Use the 'custom dino levels mod' (I think that is the name) I don't know how to work all the ini and all that but just by having that mod installed the levels will improve a lot more!
