To be fair in his case it was pure luck, he didn't exactly single handedly guide The Monday's to a record and publishing deal (he probably didn't even know what they were) and the reason he gets that money is because Shaun insisted on giving him points he wasn't actually entitled to. I love Bez but it was pure luck and not brains that got him to that position. Shawn was the one with the brains who saw the potential in having Bez on stage, because the rest of the band were musicians they couldn't understand the point of having a non musician on stage, Shawn was definitely the brains of the outfit
