I was at this gig. We got stopped by the police in the car after wanting to know where we were coming from (there was a bomb scare or something), when we told them at a gig he asked "was it the Mondays gig?", then he was asking how it was. Turns out the copper was a huge Mondays fan (go figure).

Everyone dabbled. We had a pretty big sound system back then and were responsible for many of the illegal gigs people still talk about. One of our DJs that I tought to mix was a schoolteacher. A supply teacher back then. College teacher now. One story he tells was when he was on the decks at a free party and two of his students show up mashed out their heads. Got him a fair bit of respect on the Monday when the story of him rocking the show went around the class. Great photo of that staffie btw mate. 👍🏻
