I never knew that you should hold off cleaning the bezel joint until the end! That makes so much sense! I know understand why bezels give me problems. Thank you

Hi Soham, l was just wondering if you need a certain type of solder and flux for stainless steel, or will hardware store solder work ok for stainless, im using the 2% silver solder with handy flux?

What size is the sheet metal you buy? I couldn't hear it. Also is it hard, half hard? I am new to bezel setting. Thanks
@1soham111 жыл бұрын
.3mm for small stones, .5mm for larger ones. if it is hard or half hard, just anneal it so it is dead soft.

Love this video series. I have been using sheet solder and when I look on Rio for the wire solder, find it comes in gauges. What gauge solder to use with this bezel?

One more question, what are the snips called you snip your solder with?

Again. I've made a few successful bezel cups, then warped my last one. Back to the drawing board.
