Bezelling an 18mm x 13mm OVAL shaped cab with PEYOTE stitch

You might be used to bezelling perfectly round cabochons and wondering what to do with all the oval shapes in your stash?!

In this demo, I'll take you through the entire bead bezelling process as we make use of an internationally known and used stitch called Peyote. Once your cabochon is bezelled and trapped in place by your seed beads, you can embellish the surrounds as elaborately or simply as you wish - your only limitation being your imagination!
Materials used:
1 x 18mm x 13mm Oval Cabochon
11/0 Seed Beads
15/0 Seed Beads
Beading Needle

I just found your channel and was wondering when the second part of this tutorial will be up? You made it look so simple. I always have trouble making bezels. Somehow my beads always get twisted around and then my bezel looks wonky.

With regards to your bezel looking wonky - I'm sure you're being ultra critical of your own work; however; I always check that the bead I've just added is sitting in the correct position, before adding in another, ensuring that my thread has been pulled all the way through - so tightening up on tension...x

Thank you for your advice about checking where the beads are sitting. I need to start bezels when there's nobody in my house so I don't get distracted. 😁
