I have my heart set on this machine for upgrades at the end of the year/early next year. It's everything I want (and more) in a compact size and great aesthetic (matte black w/ wood panelling for me). It's a huge upgrade from the crappy super-budget one I started with to test the waters, so videos like this really help!

the temp shown is just an offset from the temp in the boiler. the temp is still measured in the boiler by the pid. i would prefer it was measured at the group especially with fluctuating room temperatures im not sure the temp shown is the actual temp of the brewing water... i think mara x v2 with pid does a better job here

Can the white version be upgraded with wood accents? Also, would you say the pressure outside the box is a bit high, or does flow control remove the need to adjust or lower the brew pressure?

It is possible to change the accents to wood. Bezzera does tend to set their machines a little higher than others but I don't find it has a detrimental effect on the coffee. The flow control can also be used to dial this in.

Hi, that's really not a fair comparison. The Micra costs 2.5x more than the Aria without flow control.

It's it the same it's the customer service that will win if anything goes wrong. I know nothing of either of these companies but do your research and call customer service and see what their return policies are. Look at their warranty. Selling is easy. Keeping a customer is another.

Hello, I am in dilemma on getting either Profitec 600 or Bezzera Aria. Which would you recommend and why? Looking from the specs itself, the aria seems to have the upper hand with the rotary pump and the flow valve, but I believe that it is not the only decision maker. Any other thoughts? Thanks

I have the same question. The 600 is a dual boiler, which is a big advantage, but is a vibratory pump. I would love to get some thoughts on this.

​​​@@zacharygreen6716 From what I gather if you aren't doing a huge crowd of people then get the vibration pump with rotary pump. Better yet if you find a thermacoil (Ascaso) I'd get that. Problem with broiler is it keeps the water in the tank. I like fresh water as I do beans. Thermacoil takes only fresh water from a reservoir on demand only. I never liked the idea of dual broilers as water is very corrosive over many years. But DB do have their advantages if you have a large crowd of people you are serving for. Thermacoil maybe six people max in a short time? It's me and my wife I don't need a DB. I like the Crem ONE too. That machine will allow you to plumb a line on a vibration pump, unheard of so this eliminate all your doubts about serving large crowds. Win win. Soo many choices.
