Bezzera Aria - 1 year 6 months review and flow control

Had my Lelit Bianca for about a month. Loving it. Really like the flow control with just over 180 degree range. Very easy to use all the way to left-closed. All the way right -fully open.

How do you find out bezzera build quality? I just got the same model but it’s not working 😢. PID shows - - - no pressure, squeaky water tap handle. I have to send it back. Wish me luck 😂

@@ethnography oof.. sorry to hear that. I’ve seen a video of someone who had the same issue with PID - - - display. Not sure what’s going on there. Build quality is very solid, if you get a good one 😬. As far as mechanical parts, only issues I’ve seen are with the pump pressure regulator. It’s. Fluid-o-tech pump. Seems to not stay lubricated well. Have had to re-apply multiple times.

Having a very hard time with mine not sure what the best bars to set at. Cant seem to be consistent

Love my Aria and flow control generally! Curious if you target a short pre-infusion? I get better results by targeting the grind to a 10s pre-infusion, with low flow to 15s, full flow to 25s(ish), then low flow to finish. The slow start and low flow finish can have favorable extraction results.
