It has one multiplayer server if you already own BF2. If you just move the Heat_of_Battle into your BF2 mods folder it should work if you login with your BF2Hub registered account through the mod login screen. Then you can just manually install the Heat of Battle Reshade from ModDB. I have played on the one Heat of Battle multiplayer server. I don't know if it still works with the weird BF2Hub maintenance stuff going on right now, but it did before that :)

hello sir i have just recently downloaded Heat of battleand its awesome. and its my first time playing BF2 as an adult (last time i played this was a kid and played on an internet shop🤣) anyway. i dont know how the unlock works in both vanilla and in the mod. do i unlock weapons on the mod? i researched and the unlocks are online only. i was wondering if that's different in the mod. thanks in advance for answering.

In this mod there's no weapon unlocks. You're stuck with what you get on each team
