In Heat Of Battle, does ur game quits *(after u change ur graphical settings to the lowest)* evertym u choose and enter a map Coz idk bt dis problem is happening wit me, I've tried downloading the standalone version aswell as tested the non-standalone bt it happens to me everytym

@@gamerrex3022 Well I have not experienced anything like this till now, but I actually play the mod at MEDIUM graphics settings, I think you should try reinstalling the mod, that may fix your problem.

@@gamerrex3022 or maybe the HEAT OF BATTLE mod is made to run on medium to high graphics settings and is not made to run on the lowest graphics settings possible. I think you should try running the mod at medium or high graphical settings, the mod may stop crashing. I hope my suggestion would help you.

my only gripe with AIX is the lack of recoil simulation firing a handheld weapon as well as the weapon sounds. Other mods do that so much better such as Heat of Battle and MVmod

Great video, interesting mods created by talented modders. I agree about AIX 2.0, despite its time, it turned out to be so successful in terms of vehicles and aviation that it was in first place in my top for a long time. It was from there that I fell in love and it is still very convenient to use two weapons at once with the left and right mouse buttons (cannon - machine gun, cannon - ATGM, cannon - bomb, etc.). And if in some of the mods this is not now and the weapons are applied one by one, it seems inconvenient to me. Now in my top are Damocles mod and Zone of continuos fire, which have all the features from AIX 2.0, but the gameplay and visual play are even better and more enjoyable, plus shooting from small arms is better. I also really like Heat of Battle, Alpha Project, Actafull mod, Bad Company 1.9 and IDF beta 2.0. While Eve of destruction and Battleground 1944 I haven't played yet, but I'm interested in them, I'll definitely try. Thank you for the video!

Looking forward to Heat of the Battle. Hope there're good jets. Most under rated mod is BF2SP128, with commander, and map addons, plus adding F22 Raptor, with 90 bots on hardest difficulty (seems to crash over 90). It's epic and intense, especially with artillery. Can't seem to find a UAV mod for single player/LAN. BF2HD Gold V2 is another great mod, but extends the loading at start up for BF2 on all mods. AIX 2.0 has many addons and a good selection of jets. I love them jets.

is there anyway to edite the reloading problem in battlefield 2 cuz I hate when you shot few rounds and you change the mag with new one then your charachter pulls the charging handle eventhough there is already a bullet in the chamber

Good one, Freedom. My own preferences: - Alpha Project - Insurgency - Zone of Continuous Fire (the old one) - Last Battle AIX has one issue which breaks immersion for me: the weapons they modelled don't have proper movement (shaking). It's the exact opposite of Unknow mod and Armored Shield, which have TOO MUCH shaking. Heat of Battle, sound wise, is quite good. It has too many indications on screen for me, though (same as with Damocles). Good AI settings. Hardwar and Battl333 are nice mods. It is great you guys keep showing these choices. UPDATE: MVMod looks incredible. All the little details I look for are there. I shall try this one. [...] I tried it. It's very good, sound and textures/visuals wise [the WW3 detail of running with weapons upright is now being replicated everywhere, but it's rather well done.] NOTE for @Freedombravo_101 and @Slavnik: guys, if I may, have to say that as much as I enjoy these mods, their ballistics and ragdoll physics do not suit my idea of great singleplayer gameplay. Remember the many debates surrounding proper ballistics values vs gameplay at PR's forum? I am with the camp that realistic values give the best AI. So, NONE of these mods, after I try them, survive the criteria set by our camp at PR forum. Which means I edit weapons, soldiers, ragdoll physics EXTENSIVELY (and use the ideas behind AP regarding AI behaviour) and most .ai files (including inside levels). Result: very impressive, surprising even AI. They almost seem intelligent (not without glitches, as per the game engine limitations). As BlueDrake says, proper AI seals the deal with respect to singleplayer and singleplayer is what distinguishes good games from great ones. With the cheating epidemic going on everywhere, singleplayer will be THE thing of the future. So, that's my caveat regarding these mods: I love them, but I edit them extensively, otherwise there's no real interest there for me. As content creators and potential influencers, guys, just give it a thought. Maybe you can help transform this landscape.

@@es_koz Old version: even though I had to tweak them, more than 118 handheld weapons. Old version: less reference errors. New version: less than 67 handheld weapons. Several reference errors (in particular sound files). On the plus side, the new version has 9 more maps, IIRC. Ballistics: both focus on gameplay balance, not on realism AND gameplay, hence many, many corrections to weapons, projectiles and AI. Frredom, Slavnik and Euwin probably read some of my comments, I have held ZCF as a good mod.
