I've learnt from this that i spend way too long locking targets with rockets/missiles in the Scout. You hold the lock for prob less than half the time i would have thought i needed to. Amazing skill mate.

Do you have experience flying heli with a controller? If so, I wonder what your opinion is about controller vs mouse and keyboard in terms of accuracy. I've transitioned from ps4 to pc and I've been trying both con and mkb lately and I feel like controller feels much more natural because of the subtle inputs you can do, but somehow mouse and keyboard feels easier to snap on targets quickly. Gonna do some more of both to see which one I want to stick to

Its preference, personally I prefer mouse and keyboard and feel there is just some movements u can do on keyboard u cant do on controller.

I play on PC with a PS3 controller, so I also got some input :D its definitely doable, and can be great actually. the only downside is aim. hitting headshots is just a tad bit more difficult, and landing TOWs in the attack chopper is even harder. but in terms of flying, its a lot nicer (imo). so with controller you are more maneuvrable, but less accurate. that seems to be the trade off. I therefore use my better, faster flying to turn the tides of any heli battle my way. its quite easy for me to dominate in any helicopter and out-aim most MnK users. its not impossible. just takes practice :) but, if you had to choose either keyboard or controller? I say keyboard. having to switch from controller to keyboard everytime I go from infantry to heli is quite annoying. mastering MNK is definitely worth it in the long run

Whatever the control defaults are is what I use, takes practice to learn full control of it.

@@x8reaps I think the default is a and d, it’s just that for me it feels really ‘floaty’. Like if you tap the button you don’t move at all but if you hold it you keep spinning past where you want to aim. I’ll do what you mentioned in another video and practise in an empty zavod server, that sounds like a solid idea.

Don't you feel ineffective against armor in a map like this? I prefer to use 25mm especially when the enemy pilot isn't a challenge and when much more time is spend shooting tanks than jets. Maybe it's just a different experience on ps4 in general, For example the switching seats and shooting a smaw thing goes right out the window since you are forced to switch through all the seats. (It's doable but takes like 50% longer with switching & takeoff)

25mm damage towards vehicles is negligible, its so small that its pointless, its better to make a combination of laser guided and smaw seat swapping but as u said console is different.

you are certainly less effective against armor on this map. but you shouldnt equip 25MMs for it imo. as ReaperZ said, the damage they do just isnt enough. the way I get around being inneffective against armor is by just going around killing infantry, and looking for tanks in the meantime. once an enemy tank is in a 1v1 with a teammates tank, I fly by and shoot a quick laser guided at them to turn the tides. basically, I dont go for Tank kills, but rather assists. just see who's fighting who, and assist your teammates on the ground.

@@pixel6173 yeah especially on pc 25mm might not pull it off since effective range between miniguns and 25mm seems to be further apart on mouse & keyboard. But I genuinely think I'm better off with 25mm most of the times, being able to deal with tanks on your own is pretty high up the list to winning a game. But on pc you can quickly switch seats and fire a smaw so I can understand that it might be a good setup. You remain 100% effective in the air with the miniguns Plus you can kill about 4 tanks solo each life. As long as I encounter more than 4 armored vehicles on my own though, I prefer 25mm. Unless the enemy pilot is a challenge & starts engagement before I'm inside of range. (Which happens less than daily)

Not much you can do. The jet is a counter. The only thing you can do is use cover.
