Have you tried assaulting the tower when the enemy team occupies it? It's really fucking hard, you bring down the tower when you can't get a hold of it. Defending the rubble is a lot harder than the tower. It's a strategic push to try and win the game.

+kingdavid1029 Exactly, when they said "levelution" I thought of Red Faction: Guerilla type of destruction. like when you bought the skyscraper down I thought it would at least fall in one of four directions. I thought wrong. Even destroying a small building is scripted where a game from 2009 could do that all dynamically. A GAME THAT IS 6 YEARS OLD COULD DO THAT. But I guess the netcode or whatever code that handles data transmission between clients could never ever handle that.

Remember, the debris needs to be synchronized between all the players. Pre-baking and scripting all destruction is really the only feasible answer as of today...

u know u missed one in seige of shanghii right? at B point there is a set of stairs leading to underground shops on either side of the capture point. on the side closest to the building in the centre of the map there is s support pole holding up the road above. 1 shot from any explosives will take out the support pole collapsing the road and taking out any armour above. this is a good way to trap the enemy and tacticly move up and down through the underground shop centre

It always felt badass when the skyscraper in siege of shanghai fell. One minute, you’d be trying to kill the enemy team on the other side of the building. The next minute, you’re all scrambling to jump off the tower to save yourself from being crushed. The slow ones would be obliterated with debris. Seeing a massive beast like skyscraper collapse is something awe inspiring, and I wish more games did that.

there is one on hainan resort that you've missed, if you go on the roof and on top of the cabin behind the elevator on the big boat's side you'll see a little shining square on the big boat's central tower. If you shoot it with a sniper it explodes and sends cargo boxes fly over the beach.

Hainan seems to be the most natural levolution to occur along with op. locker. Since those are involved directly with high tension areas that will get sho up eventually. Where as the dam, satellite, wind mill, pipeline, smokestack and even the Skyscraper have to be engaged intentionally. The IEDs can be intentional or by accident (leading to some big surprises.)

A good note to add for the auto anti air turrets, be it base defence or the CIWS on paracel storm. The only way they will target and fire at aircraft is if they are spotted, this is also true in hardcore, even though you dont have 3d spotting or a mini map, also like anything else thays projectile based, the aa looses power significantly over distance because of its spread.

DICE should make a way to enjoy crumbling buildings such as in siege of Shanghai, when the building first starts crumbling, everyone in first person looks like they are losing balance, and finally when the building actually starts collapsing, everyone automatically starts sliding down and you can also shoot enemies that are sliding down. bbqhax If they get flat o well, it what makes it different from COD. I played the beta of bf4 and it felt ALOT like COD. Sure glass breaks beautifully, so buildings would look amazing coming down. If their wasnt infinite/ instant respawning vehicles you wouldn't have to worry with always being IN a building...so i guess it may be good that they have it where you cant level the map....o well I just wont buy it. Alpha/beta of it was great though.
