Update 6.2 brought substantial changes to BFV, and in so doing has shook up the weapon balance meta for bf5 big time!
With big weapon balance changes the first question is always, what is the best weapon for battlefield v? Which is best for cqb, medium & long range and what weapon classes are the strongest now? Just a note on the model 8: if you use the 2x scope you get the stripper clip reload on empty. It greatly increases your time ready to fight while giving you a bit of zoom.

Honestly I think people are seriously over looking the LMG catagory of weapons in my opinion. The FG-42, LS/26, KE7 are great weapons for close to medium range engagement. the lewis gun is practiaclly unchanged as the most versatile LMG in the game. But this just could be me, I've been killed by a vast selection of weapons in 6.2 and done extreamly well with most guns. however I must admit the ZH-29 is becoming the new plague of the game, this gun is extremely powerful. this new balance is still not perfect as the stats dont lie but it definately has spiced things up for the meta. I’m getting tired of having to reinvent my game every time there is a change. This is crazy. Part of the fun is developing skills with particular guns in each class and then.....bam, it’s thrown out the window and I have to relearn how the weapons function or change weapons because suddenly mine isn’t competitive anymore. Ridiculous.

I was wondering why I hated the new 6.2 meta... Medic/Support main is not a good place to be now, especially on console with more difficult recoil control.

Leanne Boulton I primarily play assault and use the STG 44. It’s still a reliable weapon and I still do just fine, but I’ve definitely noticed the drop off compared to semi autos and close quarter SMGs

Karabin is a wonder again. Just happy I get to use the mas and the 1-5 again. I missed them 😢. Fg42 works as well. Got it in gold and it’s beautiful ❤️

We keep going in the same circle with dice where they make changes that are everything and anything BUT reverting to 5.0 just to find out that whatever balance they come up with has glaring problems that the playerbase doesnt enjoy. Almost like nobody asked to change from the 5.0 balance in the first place because it was fine 🤔

Loving your video - one thing that would help is if you have the name of your weapon in the kill feed , some of the weapons I was a little confused at what they were as ive not used some of them very much

I think the strongest guns now are the Semi Autos, SLRs (ZH-29), Bolt-Actions following their buffs, and a select few other guns like the Type-2A and STG43

Defined Disaster I’m not sure what it’s called but I got 2000 earnable currency that you can get for completing challenges then I got 1000 of that premium money and a skin not too much really but I think it’s a lot of money in value

Yeah, that's fanboyism to the max sadly. And every 'recent' video of him on Battlefield are also skewed. He got these high K/D ratio only because he had the whole team behind his ass to revive heal him. I met him once in the enemy team, and it was just unplayable because you literally have 31 player behind him constantly, and the other 31 player trying to knife him to get a trophy. It was cool to 'see' him but just be prepared to be in a game full of fanboy.

All of this is for naught when the net code is flawed. This game is terribly inconsistent with hit reg and all shots counting at all really. I’ve watched headshots just not count at 20 m and it’s sad!

Yea they took a dump on the medic guns with that horizontal recoil. There’s no way to control it unless I burst fire. Seriously dice burst fire at freaking 20 meters is trash. Thankfully division 2 just put out a lot of new content.

GnoKyKy all the HRF smgs. Anything past 20 meters the horizontal recoil kicks in so you can’t control it like vertical recoil so you have to burst fire at a really close range now.

Roy Monson it’s not my case... if you’re struggling with smgs try some slow firing ones like the EMP or MP40, but the smgs are made to hipfire anyway... it’s not that complicated

GnoKyKy yea lol no struggle here. Just pointing out something?. If you can’t tell the difference between horizontal recoil and vertical recoil then I guess you don’t see the difference to the HRF smgs. I’m still good with the guns on tdm were the maps are smaller but I do struggle now on any other game mode due to the larger maps.

DICE might as well just delete all weapons with a ROF belwo 600 for the medic and assault, well guess DICE just shows again what class is their absolute favortite is again and has been since the ALPHA

Yea I have always been a very aggressive player and use HRF of fire guns. Stop playing bf1 because the snipers and bolt action rifles were king and made for a very boring game of me always running to them camping at the back of the maps.

BF Flyer it has the same fire rate, alot better hipfire accuracy and control, slightly less damage is the only thing the tommy is up on
