I feel like the ZH-29 isn‘t that what real sniping looks like anymore. I personally still prefer the bolt action snipers, because it’s simply satisfying to hit those headshots with not just spaming shot aber shot on the enemy and hopefully hitting him.

@Geeky Alex the 2A offer a completely different play style and have competition at its engagement ranges, contrary to the SLRs and the ZH it does actually require skill, tactics, movement and positioning. You dont get spawn with the 2A up someones ass, you have to get there. You do spawn at ranges where the SLRs obliterate everything but bolt actions. The SLRs and the ZH are simply excelling because of the deplorable state of ranged effectiveness of all the other guns in the game. Its the biggest noob guns in the game by far. Bolt actions are better, if you have the skill to use them, but ZH is just admitting youre a noob and gambling on the fact that everyone your up against are playing at a ranged disadvantage. I honestly cant understand why dice think the SLRs need this massive advantage at range, nor the bolt action for that matter. Its more than room for slower ROF guns to actually be accurate and deal proper damage at range.

@@theinternet6313 The DMRs of BF4 where actually quite balanced though, maybe they where a bit weak compared to the ARs, but they weren't hands down better than everything except bolt action rifles as they are in BFV. Its just such a sad state of gameplay that these guns only require you to aim at the enemy, and then youre hands down winning as long as its not a bolt-action rifle with the aim to hit a headshot.

NoRandomStuff Well, I’m sorry that I’m not a god tier player on Xbox who is re-adjusting to the pre 5.2 ttk, and who doesn’t sweat the game. 3 KD isn’t even that bad, and battlefield isn’t about KD anyway. A guy going 8:10 but is calling in stuff as squad leader, reviving, and playing the objective is always going to be a better player to me than say, a lone wolfer who goes 20:7, but doesn’t help his team at all

@@CommissarVito if they added team balance where they split the squads especially the clan squad, there would be an outrage on the core community which is known to be the majority but it isnt because they are supported by big bf youtubers/streamers aka jackfrags, westie, ggg etc. and have a bigger voice because they are fond into the game and watch the bf youtubers/streamers or browsing on battlefield forums or r/battlefieldv.But if they made the auto team balance by putting/swapping squads, the real majority of the community aka the casuals, noobs and the normies are outraged because even if its balance, the clans and tryhards will pub stomp all matches until they get bored or go to sleep (if they sleep because epic gamers stay up 24/7). No matter what dice do with the team balance, they will piss a lot of people

Playable? They have destroyed the game, i immediately left after 2 rounds. DMRs are more powerful than SMGs on close range, its getting HILARIOUS!. I started 11:0 playing DMRs the first time ever in BF5. Round ended unfortunately... The biggest issue is, NOONE plays medic. I played my 2nd round on wake island and there was 1 medic in the whole team. Noone plays it anymore, why should they if DICE destroys the whole class? I mean not many ppl were reviving but now, its impossible.

Honestly bro I’ve been tearing it up with MMGs, but i do think it’s one of the most difficult classes. Positioning with the support class is extremely uncomfortable and difficult due to the fact that you have to setup in basically perfect surroundings. Every map has a couple spots to use and it just takes a ton of games to figure them out. I was absolutely garbage with MMGs (bottom of leaderboards) until a couple days ago where now I’m stomping.

Frankie Bruan even at range they're just not that viable unless you get a really good spot just to sit and not move. The mg42 has too much recoil to be used at anything beyond close-medium range. With the mmgs now requiring more shots at range it's a struggle to compete with snipers, self loaders, and assault semi autos. Lmgs and mmgs just feel weak now

VGO is the best LMG. Great range, slight kick that's easily manageable, ROF over 800 and can be improved over 900, 100 round mag. It makes for a great gun at both long, medium, and close ranges. I've found myself out shooting smg's with this thing.

I've been using burst/semi-auto guns. AN-94 in BF3, M16A4 in BF4, Selbstlader in BF 1 and V. Selbstlader 1916 can even beat auto rifles in close range if you land the hits.

The selbstlader 1906 for the recon class has become a self loading rifle now where b4 it was the only semi auto rifle for the class. Was 1 my favorite weapons with 3x scope for aggresive recon play. Just weird they changed its category

Use a longer ranged weapon, and stick just behind your team, as in be the second line, mid-range. Lay supporting fire for advancing teammates. Watch how the battle flows, and you'll soon learn what to do, by who survives the advance, and who doesn't.

I was trying the m1a1, but wasnt satisfied, loved the turner before with the 20mag, will try that out today again. Instead of the BAR, i would go for the fg42 again, zk383 was always my most fun medicgun, mostly used it slow fire tho. ZH29 is and will always be my first choice for recon. GG GGG peace out! :p

Lol just know that you have to be careful because you’ll die faster, but at the same time you’ll find that enemies will die easier at distances than before. So basically no more shooting someone 5 times only for them to jump behind cover and heal

No PC has MORE recoil than console. It’s in the coding. That’s what that section means. But it’s mitigated by mouse and keyboard making it easier to control recoil. It’s somewhat of an attempt to balance across all platforms without altering specific weapon behaviour.

llJohnnyboy13ll It’s all about pacing yourself. Only run when you know it’s safe and walk round ever corner. That’s half of winning gunfights for me. As for recoil. It’s super easy to control. Just remember that burst fire at range is almost always the best way at range as it stops you reaching uncontrollable recoil. And use one weapon for multiple games at a time. The recoil will become non existent. And a note big thing is remember you can use your right stick to pull down against vertical recoil. Do that with the semi-auto rifles and they will destroy at any range. But mainly, walk don’t run. It’s back to being whoever shoots first will mainly always win the gun fight.

I think it just punishes people for being TOO aggressive, which is a good thing. Too many people run straight into the objective without being careful and that sort of mindless gameplay shouldn’t be encouraged and it should result in a death

Played couple of rounds and loved it. Though I used Type 97 lmg, which is trash I know, and Lee Enfield (have to learn new bullet velocity again). Noticed that the Last Tiger skin is locked. Hope they fix that, I don't wanna waste anymore time to unlock it, again.

Slow firing SMGs, slow firing assault rifles, MMGs (except the MG42) and shotguns are the weakest options. Can still be used well but they have disadvantages.
