One of the best horror films ever made. Best directorial debut I've ever seen. Along with Rob Eggers, Ari Aster and Jennifer Kent, Rose Glass is among the best new arthouse horror filmmakers.

The film was an ethereal journey into the psyche. I loved the dynamic between Amanda and Maud, it was quite unique and it's not seen very much on screen. The sound design in combination with the cinematography from Ben Fordesman made for a nauseous yet "can't stop watching" type of feeling. A very haunting fill that leaves re-watchability very high. Exceptional work Rose Glass as well as the performances from Morfydd Clark and Jennifer Ehle were outstanding. Cannot wait to see what projects evolve from this.

Superb film, a true British psychological horror. This was very much about loneliness and psychosis in beautiful Scarborough.
