Nice info about bfs tackel you dont see that much on the tube, looks almost the same in mine bag too so 👍 up Bfs is great just bought the Aldebaran bfs xg to pair 2 meter Dragon luvly made nano / toray rod 2 till 11 grams and works perfect. Tight lines and fish-happy 2020

Richard De Boer I’ve gone a bit crazy with this bfs ... I’ve sold some of my flyfishing gear and bought a Shimano Calcutta conquest bfs !!! Hopefully it will arrive any day now. Thanks for watching

Great reel too, but found it too heavy for my 90 grams rod want to keep the set it under 250 grams for more feeling fish jig and dropshot. Did you buy it on ebay or direct from good stuff Japan, living in Europe so must order if I wanted too.

The Constant Angler , I’ve been pretty much solely lite lure fishing for the past year (1-7g). My catch rate has really increased... but it’s been using spin gear. I use baitcasters for heavy pike lure fishing and they are great.... but I do struggle with the ultralite stuff. Anyway I’m going all in for this bfs .... so I’ve sold some unused (expensive) fly gear and I’ve bought a Calcutta conquest bfs!!!

Will probably be tempted with some more expensive gear at some point though. Look forward to your vids. If your ever in southwest i will put you on some Wrasse.

Spro gear is not bad at all, got 50 % rest is Shimano Fox and Sage. Lekker vissen in Nederland is zeker aan te raden, koop de grote Vispas en ready too go

How did you rate the TSU Ajing rod long term? I’m looking at getting the model you had in the AliExpress Black Friday sale, mainly for casting jigflies around for Perch and Jacks

Yes it was a lovely little rod... incredibly sensitive... perfect for perch.... less suitable for pike. I missed a few pike because it was possibly too soft to set the hook properly, but I was on flurocarbon.... braid my sort the problem out.... well worth the money

@@AndyK-qh4gs they do a bf model of that which will have a bit more backbone..... nice rods. Although I hate the look of it, the silver needle 2 is supposed to be very good (and cheap) or kuying teton have an excellent reputation

Is that the Proflex you mean regarding more backbone? I’ve got a TSU Elf Trout which is a lovely rod, I’ll take a look at the ones you mention.

@@AndyK-qh4gs yes the proflex is a slightly stouter rod, if your targeting pike aswell I think it would be more suitable to help the hookset.

Hi, the smaller soft lures as the perch where I fish in Ireland are not very big. I love the Keitec lures. The Irish shops are running short of stock.

I enjoyed that, where you getting them from? Any chance of a web site for the rod reels and soft plastics. I've used the decathlon jig heads before and I wouldn't recommend them as the hooks too flexible/soft and I've lost a few nice sized pike and perch because of the hook bending. Cheers for sharing 👍

Andrew Reynolds I paid no import duty ( never paid any import duty on anything from AliExpress!). AliExpress shops tend to mark all items below tax threshold on shipping Before you buy you can ask the shop to mark items value at £9 on shipping (they will do this anyway) Thanks for watch and happy 2020

Not all true, if you buy topbrand like Shimano expensiv reels its good possible you pay tax Bought Shimano twinpower payed 45 euro tax it can happen but maybe not to the UK

Richard De Boer I have never bought branded gear like shimano from AliExpress (can buy cheaper elsewhere) . However I’ve bought tonnes of Chinese gear from AliExpress, often well in excess of £50 (which definitely qualifies for import duty) and to this day I’ve never been charged any import duty.

Maybe for catfish but not for other species. IMO most fish that strike lures need only a lure's action to provoke strikes. Scent spreads from a stationary lure that diffuses super slow isn't detectable; even once a lure is struck, the sense of taste is also not relevant if ever. The lures shown each have unique actions - some far superior to others for most fish species. I design and modify soft plastic lures and no longer get excited by the newest designs on the market, nor colors that are supposed to influence fish to strike. I leave sales of most of those products to the gullible that need to believe in fairy tales and use them as excuses to spend money.
