I've said multiple times in the comments that this isn't about just sex trafficking. It is illegal to obtain pressure under false pretenses for another person. It is against the law to then transport those narcotics across state lines also. If you obtain prescription narcotics over the internet under false pretenses, paid through internet transactions, and had narcotics delivered through postal services. That is by definition a cyber crime involving postal inspection, DEA, and financial fraud. It doesn't matter whether one or both individuals suffer from drug addiction, that doesn't give one the ability to physical abuse someone. If a woman who is experiencing post partum depressed with psychosis doesn't give the mother an excuse to take the lives of her children. If one becomes intoxicating and chooses to driver doesn't excuse someone from being held criminal liable from driving drunk. If a parent is suffer from substance abuse that doesnt give parents the excuse to exercise abuse of any kind to there children, neglect, selling personal possessions, subjecting there children's to Homelessness. If one suffers from mental illness it doesnt give one the ability to subject one to any abuse or even the taking of one's life. We need to stop attempting to blame Cassie for deciding to stay in an abusive relationship specifically when one hasn't interviewed her or had access to psychological or medical records. It's not uncommon for women to stay in abusive relationships, it's not uncommon for women or men to loose custody of there children by staying in an abusive relationships because under California child welfare guidelines children allowed to be subjected to watching parents in abusive relationships is child abuse under calif law. As one has a duty to protect the child at all times and keep them in a secure environment. Attempting to give Diddy an out, is attempting to excuse behavior that is unacceptable. But, also makes one look like a damn fool as one hasn't spoken to Cassie to get her 1st hand account. If a man is attempting to explain domestic violence, the like hood one is an abuser themselves is likely. I'm a licensed clinical social worker and 90% of my clients are male. I always listen to them as they seek to offer an explanation for the actions opposed to acknowledgment there wrong. Those are the ones I deem likey to be a repeat offender and as i dig deeper has a prior history of difficult relationships with women that often involve cheating, manipulation, gas lightning, low self esteem, chronic liars, and abusers in every way.
