There is a article in the LA times about Gangs in LA in the late 80’s and they interview a few detectives and they say the ones who spill the beans real quick are the black gangs. I still have that article. Times might have change, but that’s what I read. Every race has snitches. I’ve seen it first hand. I work as an EMT and will arrive on scene on shootings and the gang member (shooting victim) will tell the cop in back of the ambulance everything, what gang is was, , description of the car. I’ve like about every interview BG done but as someone who has done all my time on a four yards and always mainline except for my first 6 months in a wheelchair.
