Lol good point Rasmus! I would love to get my hands on some tabs though, even if i didn't want to learn sections of this - it would still be a valuable learning tool for incredible fingering and clever adaptions of difficult pieces. Also...he does sell tabs for this!

Technical virtuosity combined with fantastic artistry makes this my all time favorite guitar performance ! I keep coming back and have watched this around 20 times. Kudos also to the recording engineers, you can hear every note quite clearly along with the chair rattlers who ought to be drawn and quartered. Just kidding! Now that mankind has reached the ultimate pinnacle in human artistic expression ,I guess we may as well pack it all in and move with the kids to Belgrade in hopes some of this may rub off on the children.

Ex-Amor: Just about any piece of music written for another instument can be adapted for the guitar. Many of the classical pieces sound absolutely gorgeous on a guitar. Search KZbin for your favorite pieces and add "guitar" to the title. Chances are that a guitar version will be found. Happy listening!

The most authentic and accomplished performance of Bach toccata and fugue in D minor on a guitar i have ever heard! The amount of work behind this impeccable performance is amazing! The technique, the arrangement, this must have taken years to accomplish! I can only imagine the perseverance required to arrive there! Bravo! And thank you for playing the master of the masters J. This rendition by Mr. Ilich literally brought me to tears. Very nuanced and true to Bach's score. It is a difficult piece for an entire orchestra and Victor has expressed the song masterfully with just 10 fingers... T and F in D minor has been a favorite of mine my whole adult life. The organist at our wedding (in 1975) just chuckled and said "no" when i asked if he could do it.

My mind = BLOWN. I've never heard this piece on a classical guitar. I didn't even think it would be possible considering this piece was written by Bach to be performed on the hugest pipe organs in Europe utilizing both feet as well as both hands. This was inspiring. The section starting at 7:40 is just utterly incredible.

This piece played on a cathedral pipe organ is an enthralling experience. You're actually sitting 'inside' an instrument. The Harp and Guitar renderings are more intimate with the nuances that string instruments are capable of expressing.
