I was in university when Red Dwarf started. And I identified with David Lister so much. I felt like I was 6 million years away from Earth when I spent every day and night working on my thesis. I had three friends that I hung around with and we did loser bachelor things. And there was a female student that I loved but she thought I was slime. We never got up to durex volleyball or tiddly winks show jumping. But we did eat a lot of vindaloo. And a half full can of last night's flat lager actually did start my day on a couple saturdays. Thanks for this. It made me feel like I was in my 20s again.

Yeah, you'll get it. Once you've been playing for a while it'll start sounding fairly simple to you, then one day you'll think, "Fuck me... I reckon I could play that, you know..." And you will. Beautiful thing about guitar is that you don't really notice AS you're getting better, you just periodically realise it after it happens.
