I was born in 1990, but this is still nostalgic for me. I used to watch these old episodes on VHS with my grandpa, when he babysat me after school.

1987 baby, claymation always had this mystique, from "Gumby" to Will Vinton specials to Aardman studios, something about it

For anyone who doesn't know, all the footage on that surveillance monitor at 2:37:16 in the episode 'Naughty Boy' is from series creator Art Clokey's side project 'Mandala', a more abstract claymation short film that explores themes like spirituality and grief

Gumby made his debut back in 1953 Gumby and other Gumby characters were created by Art Clokey

Was the first one shown: 'Moon Trip', the very first one made, also?? In this episode, we get to see, one of the Clokey's hand appears, just for a split second @0:04:25. Love these older 'Gumby's' (the one's with the red eyes. Later seasons, they changed to silver ballbearings). Grew up on these, back in the day!! The reruns, of course😉………

I was fairly upset about the Black Knight and that for which he was responsible (as regards creating famine and upset in the kingdom). That fairly sucked. But then, I got happier when Gumby put the BK in his place. It was nice that Gumby got knighted and then, I can safely say that I appreciate any time when any high-ranking regal entity can create a pet situation for a nice Dragon.

But also, minimum wage (not that it was officially out, at the time. Not 'till the equal Rights times, of the'60's) would of been approximately, 95¢/hour.
