Happened to a guy when I was younger. He cut off the 1st ⅓ of his pointer finger. They drove him to the hospital but they went so fast they forgot to grab his pc. After they left the lead man called and asked if we could locate the guys finger and drive it up to the ER so they could try to save it. We did find his finger I was filthy , covered in saw dust and looked like it had been stepped on a few times. That said, they actually saved it. I'll never forget that , or the guys name. He was named John Wayne
